You could use some less offensive terms, but on your core argument, I agree. If you grab the shotgun first, there's an 80% chance your going to win. If the score was to 25, the shotgun would be less of a factor. The short score let's the full clip size for the shotgun dominate.
This does not need a whole thread for how a shotty controls the map. You should have just said this on Pi's Featured Map Thread, added the videos to your post and been done with it.
