lockout.....lockout.. god damn i want lockout backkkkk please bungie, I will not steal people's shoes anymore I swear!
PEOPLE, SHUT UP ABOUT LOCKOUT. LOCKOUT IS ALREADY BROUGHT BACK. Ahem, sorry. I'm just getting furiated over everyone begging for Lockout when Lockout is already returned, when the game launched. Guardian = Lockout.
Brute Technology. All equipment is brute along with their new weapons and vehicles. These were made pre-covenant and they kept them. Covenant has always been purple.
Seriously Guardian= Lockout if you never played H2....Oh and I would love Midship as long as they do not do to it what hey did to lockout
Part 1: Yay, agreer! Part 2: Purple Reign can't be Midship. The noobs who camp the magically floating Sword platform can't do it again but in HD.
My suspisions (sp? i haven't been to school in so long): - Purple Reign: Covenant Purple, similiar to Midship, possible Derrelict. Arena Style makes me think that it is the new Forging map. With pillars as objects, more ramps, platforms, etc... -OK Coral: Grassy, with some civilization. Looks like campaign... Everyone go play Sierra 117 in the campaign. I believe the scenery will be exactly like that. If done correctly, could also be the new Forging map. -Remake: Sidewinder... the only true possible "big" map that could be remade from Halo 1, that hasn't been remade yet.
Where did this idea come from that one of the maps was a Halo 1 map remake? I don't see that in the update at all. He says it's his all-time favorite but in context it seems like he might just be talking about how much he likes it from playtesting. Only the "vaguely familiar features" part rings like it's a remake. Did they say something about remaking a Halo 1 map before now?
I'm still not sure that's what he meant. Here is the quote again: "But I can also guarantee that my all-time favorite ever Halo map will be included too, if yesterday’s playtest was anything to go by. A large map with some vaguely familiar features just rocked my world. It was AMAZING fun. Any time I am in an hour long standoff against an equally matched team and it never becomes frustrating, is evidence enough for me that we are onto something special." It seems to me he may well be saying that it's his favorite Halo map (as in: favorite map from all three iterations of Halo) and that may NOT refer to it being a remake at all. In fact, the "if yesterday's playtest was anything to go by" bit makes it seem much more like it's not a direct remake of anything, to me. Basically it sounds like he's saying that he really liked playtesting a new map, not that it's a remake of a map that was previously his favorite from Halo: CE.
I honestly have NEVER seen someone last more than two seconds with a flamethrower anywhere near a Sidewinder base.
