This has been a difficult forge, but I am happy with the end result of the pyramid. The interior had another pyramid in the centre at the same angle as the main pyramid. I have wanted to forge the pyramids for a while, after several attempts I am happy with the end result I like how the top goes to a star shape pointing to the stars This works on a number of gametypes with a competitive layout inside and exterior pyramid I have added a way under the sphinx that leads to central pyramid through a teleporter. Wait, so, there are 1 way shields on the pyramid? What exactly was the point of that? I'm not being a jerk, I'm just curious about your reasoning. Really like this map though, pretty cool design, man.

I like the way you put effort into making sure the pyramid came to a clean point at the top and all the sides lined up nice and neatly also. The Sphynx adds alot to this for me because it looks like it is actually worn and weathered like the real version, it's a shame Forgeworld doesn't have more stone pieces like Halo 3 so the Pyramid could have looked worn too. This is a problem I found in my build also but theres not much we can do about it, nice work as always Timmy.
Thanks! Appreciated. For me it's all about the pyramid. It took some work but I got there in the end. forging the sphinx was always going to be difficult with 50 rocks, I tried to add as much depth and dimension to face adding cheeks to make eye sockets. I will try and improve further but I am out of rocks and adding forge pieces will make texture look wrong. Thanks
This looks great I love the pyramid I can tell I took a long time to make. I love how you made this map compatible with multiple game types so it is not just an aesthetic, it shows that you have the patience to make a map that looks great and has great gameplay. I also like the sphinx but there are some things that could be improved but I understand that it is hard to make a structure with rocks due to the object limit of 50. Overall I think this is a great map and I hope you do great in the contest. I am loving the sphinx boat.
Thanks for the comments folks! I have updated the map and added a few extras for this aesthetic version. I have added oddball, removed 2 way shields making map larger and should easily hold a full BTB. Also infection added and custom gametype using a way under sphinx to interior pyramid room
The pyramid is virtually the same, there are a few adjustments made structually and aesthetically. This is an aesthetic version with the sphinx. It is much larger ...up to 16 players and has different gametypes also a custom gametype. The other map is totally contained in the pyramid and is for the 7x7 competition.
Thats not very nice, there is a lot more to the sphinx I forged than a face,anyway it is easy enough to draw the simple face u have but another thing forging out of rocks.
I can take a joke and have a crack, your wording along with post came across as putting it down. I know face could look better , lack of rocks, but I gave it a go anyways.
