It is however, a half remake. I got the idea when I heard The Pit wouldn't be in the forge test playlist bc 343 said it was too small. With the addition of sprint and dmr and armor abilities there does appear to be some truth to this. So I started off making a larger scale version of the pit. The bases, shotgun areas, rocket hallway, camo hallway, and sniper towers are relatively similar. I however completely revamped the sword and overshield areas and making some other adjustments. My goal was to make The Pit Halo 4 style with some of my unique ideas intertwined. I even added a view of a vehicle depot as a sort of homage to the warthogs behind the fence in the original map.
