It was alright, not bad, but definately not the sort of thing I'd listen to out of choice. I'd imagine it would be good fun at a hardcore party with glowsticks etc. But not one to just chill out and listen to. 7 / 10. YouTube - The All-American Rejects - Gives You Hell Edit, not working, not sure why, but click the link and listen to the whole thing anyway.
His voice makes me want to throw up, the chorus is WAY too repetitive, and there is absoultely NO progression. 6/10 YouTube - As Blood Runs Black - Beneath the Surface Please, for the love of god, listen to those ****ing breakdowns. I have heard the song before, that's why I replied so fast.
Read the OP in future, it states that if you've heard the song, you should listen to it again to refresh your memory, it's possible that your tastes have changed. I never used to like this song but it was on the radio yesterday and I loved it. I usually hate the band, mainly because my girlfriend likes them, but there's a reason this one got rather high in the charts. Anyway with yours it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, the breakdowns were quite different, but THAT was a 'voice that would make someone throw up'. I'm pretty sure you only didn't like AAR singer's voice because it's audible. It doesn't have to be heavy to be a good song. Anyway, Nothing really musically genius, just people trying to show off and get ahead of themselves.. Overall I think it was relatively talented, Suprisingish I suppose.. 5 / 10. YouTube - Ronald Jenkees - Disorganized Fun This is just an example of musical genius, it's not the sort of genre that people listen to, but experimenting with sounds like this man does is what music is all about IMO. * I have formatted some of rules so that they are a bit more spaced out, and changed any initial thread mistakes. Also, as another note I should add in, try not to post purely one style of music if you are going to use this thread very often, it gets repetitive and trying something new is healthy. This is basically a reminder for everyone to read the OP. *
Ahhhh, did you know about this artist, or from my posts? ;D He is a ****ing musical genius <3 9/10 YouTube - Jedi Mind Tricks - I against I feat. Planetary
rap? Er damn, my worse music choice to choose from But I looked up the lyrics, and they were interesting at best. But again im not a big fan of rap but i still listen to it here and there. 5/10 YouTube - Nickasaur! - xoxo Nickasaur! ftw <333
Pretty damn good song. I'm really starting to like Passion Pit. 8/10 Beware, it's metal. YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Chapter Four
Oh my god, i have had this song on my Itunes; most played. Its a really good song, i love A7X. Another amazing Passion Pit song YouTube - Passion Pit-Little Secrets (Manners)
A bit eccentric for my tastes, I really have a hard time getting into this. Not that it's a bad song, though. YouTube - Left Alone - By My Side (lyrics)
Good beat and very enjoyable, not to mention some pretty deep good lyrics 8/10 (Sound is pretty low, turn up speakers) We Are Scientist's - Its a Hit YouTube - It's A Hit
The intruments are good, but the vocalist is very monotone, and the beat is somewhat annoying. 3/5 YouTube - I See Stars "What This Means To Me" Music Video HD
I ****ing love i see stars, amazing stuff there. One great vocalist. 8/10 YouTube - A Skylit Drive - My Disease
Jag's voice makes me want to commit suicide considering how bad it goes with the music and how ridiculously whiny it is. The instruments are completely generic and lack a unique sound at all. YouTube - After The Burial - Berzerker (RERELEASE!) 2009
Take overly used, redundant arpeggios and sweep picking patterns, slam them in with a bass heavy drum beat, and growling heavy guitars, add a screamo singer, make the song sound like 8 different songs combined into one, and you've got modern day screamo(this song)... It's a decent song, I have to say it hurt having to listen to the screaming(but whatever floats your boat). YouTube - Buckcherry - So Far (HQ) ooohhh yeah ^^
Wow, that was like a more free feeling version of green day, except I like the singer here. Loved the song, could add that to my library if i'd be bothered to download songs. Fantastic, 8/10 YouTube - Junkie XL - Stratosphere
I love Junkie, i hear his stuff all the time on PANDORA. Such a sick tune to snowboard to <3 YouTube - FC Kahuna - Hayling
Quite... Original? Maybe I haven't heard much music like it because of my styles. Reminds me of something that would be in a commercial. The background music really is nice but the vocals are sort of bland, I think maybe a some more back up vocals and layering and different pitches would do this music some good. 4 / 5 because of the slightly boring vocal tone. YouTube - Waking The Cadaver - 02 - Always Unprotected (Lyrics) Lyrics:
While obviously not my kind of music, I am not one to bash it. I will say that I'm not a big fan of noise that cannot be understood, which is apparent in the guitar, and screaming unintelligible vocals. So I may seem biased against it, because it's just not my kind of music, don't take my review to heart. YouTube - The Big Pink - Dominos (Official Video)
I actually really liked that, one of the first songs I've enjoyed in this thread tbh. The vocals were sort of strange, and the lyrics a tad repetitive, but I absolutely loved the musical aspect of it, the instruments and such. I love the mix of regular instruments and computer generated stuff. The music video was also amazing. YouTube - Vanilla Twilight - Owl City
Owl City! <3333 I love this song and even sang it to amber here and there Im to chiche <3 YouTube - INGESTED - Skinned And ****ed (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
