The Mona Lisa After reading about making infection maps I tried to make a journey infection map (similar to the left4dead maps). City maps and village maps have been made several times by great forgers, so I thought I should make an infection map with a spaceship setting. I think it will be using the infection gametype used in Rifte's maps or something similar. Im not finished yet, but there is not much left to do. This is the spawn. That red light is blinking and the hallway goes left and right but they are sealed off. This is the next room. Its a cafeteria. The infected has the platform and the humans has to survive in the corner (where you can see the spartan). Humans enter from the right side on the picture. This is the first holdout. Humans has to wait for the switch to be ready(wait for a landmine to spawn). This is the next stage. The humans has to move the crate to enter the next stage. It shouldn't take that long if they have picked up a sword or two. On the right side(of the first picture) is two entrances to the the room where the zombies come from. It's a room with prison cells. As you can see they are broken and the infected wil come from the cells and from a hole in the roof outside of the cells. picture from inside a prison cell. I know this doesnt make any sense at all, but there is this weapon vendor in the prison room. If you use it right after you have entered this stage, you will only get a DMR. But if you wait a while, it will give you a grenade launcher. Your teamates will be finished with moving the grate long before you get that grenade launcher. This is where you end up after jumping down the hole under the crate. This is supposed to be a flooded storage room. You can find some ammo in the middle of the room. This is where you most likely will stand and fight the undead horde. This is the next stage. The zombies will come from the back of the hall behind the bars. This is currentrly just a run for your life to the teleporter (right next to where the picture is taken from). The infected has a spawning room with teleporters sending them to each stage of the map. In stage 1 they are teleported to the walkway in the cafeteria. In stage 2 and 3 they are teleported to above the current stage and can jump down several holes in the roof to surprise the survivors. The teleporter send you to the montana. Thats my map The Mona Lisa. I got the name from the halo motion comic "The Mona Lisa". You can find it on Halo Waypoint. I'll edit the thread when I'm finished with the map. I really hope someone want to test this map, because I have currently no one to play this map with. Sorry for the horrible grammar. Looks pretty cool, and the fx actually work with the map. The first holdout area looks a little...difficult to holdout at first glance. Also, nice vending machine. I have not seen one of those implemented very well yet so props if you have. Btw, don't worry, your grammar is much better than some native English speakers.
