played team brs in blood fires tgif and it was fun, the gameplay was intense and wasnt in only one spot. 2 of 15 spawns were bad so i guess thats ok. there are no spots were you need to touch up and that is very impressive everything is geomerged once witch is good ( i taught you that ) gj :}
Holy, oh my god... I'm so going to check this map out when I get back from hanging out with my friends... You two did an amazing job on this from what I can see. I'll download and do my best to get a game going on it ASAP. EDIT: Ok, so I checked this map out, and I must say I was really impressed. From what I can tell everything is smoothed to perfection. Weapons seem fairly balanced and the layout isn't that bad. Aestheics of this map are both old and new. The box stars with the bridge was a nice touch, and the B sign square was also used before, but you guys implied it rather neatly. Some new things that I've noticed was the sniper bridges. That was a very cool new thing that I noticed. Not only is it good looking, it provides some good cover. The other main thing is the slanted wall cubby thing. Besides those things, everything else is placed well. I can see gameplay being very intense here and I would very much like to play a game on it. I tried earlier... but I failed to get people together. =[ (I had two +me, but I wanted a 3v3) So yeah, I hope I can get a game going on it sometime. That way I can report on the gameplay and spawns. EDIT 2: Alright. I got two games on this map, and I'm ready to post more about it... The first thing we did was 1-Flag. I'll have you know, this was really fun. The spawns seemed to work very nicely, and as for weapons, nothing overpowered anything. The sniper, shotgun, and overshield are perfect for this map. Our team hardly won 2-1. Our last round went in sudden death (I do believe) and we almost didn't score. But thanks to my amazing jumping skillz, we did. The next game we played was Team Slayer. Slayer was a lot more fun than 1-Flag, even though my team lost. Oh well, the gameplay flowed much more better IMO. The layout and spawns are just set up so brilliantly, that, it makes gameplay very real like. Oh, and Plasma Rifle + Magnum pwns the shotgun. (Lawlz, I pwned with that combo) But yeah as for a rating for this map, here's your scoring: Layout: 9.5/10 Though this layout is very nice there were a few awkward jumps. I found it fine, but others could complain about it... Aestheics: 8.5/10 Although you have some new ones, you have some old ones that've been used before. Not saying that's a bad thing, or you used them bad... I'm just saying it takes away from the overall originality which some might frown upon (or not). I give it an 8.5 because of the fact that it's not all that original. (You did alter them and used them nicely, so don't get me wrong) Gameplay: 9.5/10 1-Flag was fast, but that was because it was our first time. The first two rounds went by fast because we were getting used to the map. (well, not me, but the others were) By the fourth round gameplay was running really good and the last round really proved that 1-Flag can be played amazing here. As for Slayer, well, that was better than CTF IMO. It was fairly equal and each team did their best (they only beat us by ten so that's showing how close it was). Gameplay is this maps strong point, and I really like it for that. Weapon Placement:9/10 For the main part, weapons were fairly balanced. Nothing needs to be worked on and everything is placed good. The only thing I'd change, because I loathe them, is the AR's. Or at least reduce the number of them or switch them around with some BR's or something. But you don't really have to. That's just what I think. I'm not an AR fan. (If it wasn't for that, then it'd be 10/10 for weapon placement). Spawn Placement: 8.5/10 Now, I doubt you can make the spawn placement any better. But, there were a few times when you would spawn in front of someone or next to them. It mainly happen in CTF when the flag was stolen... so there is a chance maybe that could be worked better or not, I don't know... I'm bad with spawns. lol. Other than that, they were nice. Overall: 9/10 Overall, this is one of my new favorite maps (top ten). I'll be sure to keep this on my harddrive for days to come and if I ever host a TGIF party then I'll be sure to play a game here...just for the fact that I think it'll be crazy as hell as a 5v5 or 6v6 ~depending on the party size. xD I also do believe that this map'll get featured sooner or later. You two did a good enough job to where it should be.

Yeah, and as for game play, it honestly does deserve a feature, it plays great and the spawns were thought out from 30 + games of testing on both versions. Many options of spawn systems were tried out and the "spawn on opposing side when objective is launched" system worked the best, from bl00df1r3's opinion and my opinion. I'm pretty sure you said you played a 3v3 on the map, that's really fun and works. But 4v4s require more teamwork and are more exciting. And Bl00df1r3 does recommend 1 flag, and it is great for 1 flag. But i really enjoyed just team slayer or multi flag, IMO. And I highly suggest team slayer 4v4s/3v3s. Otherwise, I'm really glad you took your time to play some games on this map, I'd personally had a great time testing this map out, along with everyone else in the party, it's sad I couldn't get you in for some testing. Gamertag = D34DEYE. We play mechanar in bl00d's party every once in a while, including just about 30 minutes ago. Hopefully I'll get some more good feedback on this thread. The map is indeed beautiful, but it seems like it's mostly pieces of larger structures. It looks like you made a LOT of gorgeous elements, but I think it would work better if these 'pieces' were fused to create larger structures.

That looks amazing. The layout is great, and has very original designs. Perfect interlocking, and great geomerging. Plenty of cover and structures so a new plan can be designed everytime you play. You got my download.

I'm going to make this short, sweet, and to the point. This map should, and probably will, be featured!!! What I like about the map. 1. The aesthetics are astounding. Every object is interlocked and geomerged with extreme precision. This is the type of detail that I wish was implemented in every map. (Feature worthy) 2. The creativity is unique. I really love the sniper bridge and the blue base flag spawn. They just look so original and sexy that I have an image of then imprinted in my mind. (Feature worthy) 3. The gameplay is great. This map uses foundry very well. I like how the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable. One flag 3v3 is definitely my favorite, but one bomb 3v3 is also fun. I love the balance of weapons too. (Feature worthy) Overall this map has a 10/10 from me. Great Job! Oh and did I mention that this should be featured?

wow i loved this map i played on it with mmg weakly game nights and i never rember seeing this before it has great gameplay i give it 5/5 keep forging
Hey, just got done playing the v2. I liked it much better. Though, it was a 2v2, and we weren't really trying, I can tell from that game that the spawns were improved and a few other small things.
Yup the version two is up. The map actually plays better on 4v4s than 2v2s. I highly suggest either Team slayer or 1 Bomb. The pictures aren't as descriptive as I wanted them to be but the game play is amazing, I promise everyone that, thanks for testing out the version two Vorpal Saint. The best way to get a good look at The Mechanar is a forge through, so if you don't play on it I at least recommend that. Every item is geo merged and it took me over 250 hours of work and over 20 hours of testing. If anyone wants to know what's different about the version two, read the last paragraph of information near the download link.
Woooo this map is gret because it makes foundry seem really big,and all, but what i REALLY liked, is that i could fairly and really own my noob(ish) frineds on this map even tho they had not seen it, you can still play it pretty easily.(kinda like ghost town first off) and on top of that, this map is spaced enouph so thaat really the AR doesnt mega power everyone, unlike some maps like( noot meaning any offense here) interrobang. although it was well forged the AR superpowered it. when i saw this map i said "eeeh the forging is good, its a dl" when i looked at this map in forge i loved the sign pipelines and the sniper tower(it wasnt an extensive forgethrough). but when i PLAYED this map, all i could say was stuff like "woo that was awsome!" (even when i lost) because there were no "WTF HOW DID I DIE?!?!?!! omg i unload a clip of AR and a nade and he just....." nope. none. now for the bad. although this map has like-NO bumps in it and i love the "gaurdrails" on the sniper tower, at the section in the red base area, at the section of the map with the wall+fencewall landing, that platform is low so that you have to either back-up and jump, or crouch jump, something i prefer not to worry about when im getting BRed... so i was thinkin you could fix this minor glitch ( im not trying to sound really rude) but the star-platform bridge is a lil bumpy, is it possible to raise it more? other wise great map, i love how every turn you make is met with 10 other options while running through the map, no defined hallways a person HAS to take. thats what makes an awsome compettitive map in my eyes. awsome job 9.8/10
it looks pretty cool! idk if the shape would go for an MLG map but i'd guess it's got a little of that feeling just cuz of the bases and the map and such except for the weapons and the unsymmetrical scenery. now i say that it makes it sound less MLG-ish lol but i think it looks like a very solid map on game play for every default game variant! seems awesome! nice job! here's my rating, x/y and to find the rating, well here x = y ! 1/1 100 percent baby nice map! atleast it looks really good from the pictures but it really seems nice!(oh yeah and the video too, seems great!)
Holy crap, YOU WERE THE ONE THAT MADE THIS MAP?! OMG! I had no idea until I looked through your threads. This map is EPIC! I played it once on 2v1 and it was still fun though I got my butt kicked (was all alone). Yeah, that Sniper tower kicks so much ass, I had a blast taking out those fools on the bottom floor. How many original downloads did you have before you made the version two? 5/5 and a download. Oh yeah, did I mention how beastly the Blue flag structure is?
