Ah, ok. Thanks for the explanation. I thought that's what he was referring to, but hadn't seen that particular acronym before.
Biggest problem I've seen in H2A forge (only one I've used) is the invisible wall on the Tin Cup is still there. Wouldn't be such an issue it they had the foresight to give us different sized grass planes... smh, but yeah.
Every time I go into player mode to see how my forging is looking and then switch back to forging, my southpaw control setup switches back to default, and I have to go to the setting screen to get it back to southpaw. Just an annoyance. Also sticking with the southpaw theme, there is no possible way they had a left-handed person test this game. There are so many things wrong in all of the games, it makes much of them unplayable for any left-hander who wants to shoot with his or her left trigger finger. The biggest of the problems is that swapping the triggers and bumpers makes dual wielding in Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer impossible. My left trigger will fire my left weapon as it should, but my right trigger throws a grenade and drops my right weapon. I also can only boost in the ghost or the banshee. I can't shoot the weapons. They literally put out the flagship portion of this collection (Halo 2 Anniversary) with the ability to choose a control scheme that is unplayable. I can run an gun as long as I don't dual wield. I can pilot a ghost and a banshee as long as I don't want to shoot anyone. I have too many years of muscle memory to change how I play and too many other games that don't neglect left-handed players.
Adapt. Seriously though, that's pretty messed up. When you say 'go into player mode', you're talking about just pushing up on the control pad? I know there's a glitch that does what you're explaining if you start a new round, but this is the first I've heard of it happening without starting a new round. Does it reset it every time? I wonder if it's a glitch that's specific to that controller layout? Weird...
From what I can tell, it's specifically linked to the setting that swaps the triggers and bumpers. You are correct. Every time I hit up on the D-pad to begin forging again, the control setup switches back to default. It only does this in actuality, meaning that my controls actually behave like the default setting. All I have to do is go to the control settings menu, which still shows my southpaw setup, look at it, and go back into forging to fix it. I don't have to actually change any settings. Like I said, that's just an annoyance. It's the in-game problems with the swapping of he triggers and bumpers that make the game slightly unplayable for me.
