This map should not have been featured IMO. No offense to the creators, but it is just another un-original zombie maze map. Even the gametype is un-original. These things are a dime a dozen on bungie forums, up there with race maps and maps filled with constant exploding fusion coils. I can accept that this may be the best of it's genre, but I really think people are only saying this is great because it is front page featured and made by TDF. (and Sarge.) I've seen decent maps here on FH get trashed for not being original, and now to see something as un-original as this be praised just because of who made it..... saddens me. Sorry to sound like a jerk, I'm just disappointed to see something like this on frontpage. And again, no hard feelings to the creators.
Haha! yes, I do. My wife often has to check me before I send messages. I'm fairly aggressive and blunt when it comes to certain things, and she's the one in charge of making sure I don't piss anyone off. She's the reason people don't hate me.
I personally think it should be featured Neverless. yes it may be another overused idea, but this map is fun to play on. I like suspenseful zombie games like this.
Whoa, I actually had an idea like this for a long time now, and it was going to be my next project. My idea evolved humans turning into ghosts after being killed. You guys probably make better maps than I do, so I guess I'll download this map and make my own game for it. At least I don't have build a complicated maze all by myself!
Same thing ppr 8 cut said. I thought the auto featuring of guild maps was over? The only thing this site is useful for is kissing ass to get into the clique and then no matter what kind of crap you make, you're guarnteed to get recognition. I agree that the only reason this was featured is TDF. Everyone seems to love it because of TDF. No offense to TDF, but you guys should get a pair and leave some air in the hole once in a while. Have enough eggs to critique even the top guy's maps the way you bash everyone elses. If any other member were to make this map they would be laughed at and the "Usual Suspects" would not have even commented in their thread. Looks like we are outside of the frat neverless. Has Inertia ever been featured? What about Vitruvian? Is there something about sky castles, incan knock offs, and non-skilled gametypes that we are missing? Yes, and if you do not agree we will not visit your threads, comment on your creations, or feature your maps because that is simply the way it is...until someone else makes a FH2 and takes all the non-Borg away from us. If it were not for TDF and sarge, would you download a map like this Nitrous? Doubt it. Has anyone thought about setting up a mechanism that lets the community vote on what they like rather than being told by a few what is good? Anyone?
I could careless if TDF or sarge made this map. I just like the fact that this map brings a lot of enjoyment, and people are always wanting to play it in customs. Im pretty sure the only reason people love this map is because its fun, not TDF.
In the immortal words of TheYavimayan: It's just like the leprechaun game, but backwards. In all fairness, the game may be really fun. I'm going to try it out later today. But this isn't the kind of thing I've come to expect being featured here.
