We played this at the TGIF. At first it took us a while to figure out where we needed to go, but after we played one match it was really fun. Great map. I love how you choose your class.
1. This map is awesomesauce 2. Sometimes the peons spawn in stage 3 eve though stage 2 is the current one. 3. Interesting class system. I was trying to do something similar in my TF2 map, but it didn't work out. 4. The classes seem very TF2 inspired. You'll see what I mean when I... 5. I'll post a guide here of character classes later.
From left to right The Noob - Plasma pistol, SMG, and bubble shield LARZ - Grav Hammer, Turret, and Over shield Shamin - Beam rifle, Shotgun, and trip mine Mr. Meat Shield - Assault rifle, Battle Rifle, Flame grenade, and power drainer Healer - Needler and Regenerator Mage - Brute shot, Flame grenade, plasma grenade, flare, and over shield Sharpshooter - Sniper rifle, spiker, deployable cover, and Invisibility. (Spy)Ninja - Sword, Grav-lift, Spike grenade, and invisibility.
Hey I was playing this on TGIF last night and we found a bit of a glich, in where certain people get more than 3 lives. Great map though
One thing I noticed is that the VIP and the welshes sometimes spawn at the third level when they should be at the second. Also, the gravlift that is behind that shield door in the second stage can be destroyed by the welshes which allows them to go back to the first stage after already dieing.
after playing it im not very surprised with anything. Its good, but not not so amazing how it was suppose to be at all.
Some problems: (yes more, not that big though) You can get out of level 2 by running at the door and timing your melee correctly- shouldn't the grav lift be on instant respawn? You can get out of level 3 into the class selection area as the boss (by accident) because of movable crates and destroyable barricades.
