The Horizon ~ Sandbox Map Variant ~ By Cyanoxide and Neuroxide We made a new map variant of the mythic map Sandbox, It is our first map and we hope to make more but before we do we would like some people to test it out and rate it fairly. The map based for team games but can also be used for many other game types. It has a red base and a blue base along with camping spots and full frontal fighting areas, there are also a few hidden things on there that you will just have to play too find out about. Along with a link to the map on my file share I will also enclose some screenshots for those of you that haven't got the time or aren't at the xbox right now. We still hope you can manage to rate the map after looking at the shot, anyway here are the enclosed links. The Map Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details The Screenshots We plan to give this the full works so we will be adding a video commentary via youtube.
This post is not up to FH standards, if you click the link to the screenshots and scroll down, you will see that you can embed your screenshots at HALOSCREENSHOTS.NET, enter your gamertag there, once you find your screenshots, copy and paste the IMG to this thread. (in other words, highlight and copy and paste the screenshot once you find it.) make sure there is more than one picture that you embed. I know someone else is going to comment on this, but I'm gonna make this short. You must embed your pics. One quick way to do this is to go to Haloscreenshots.com. Search your gamertag and your screenshots should show. Click on the one you need and there is an embed code. Embed it here. Otherwise, you can go to Bungie.net and save the screenshot from there, and upload it to an image sharing website. Right click on the image in full size and click "view image". Copy the image location and there should be a bbcode for "insert picture". Paste the picture location there and you've got a picture. Both of them work for most people, but the latter is the only that works for me.
Hey, this looks pretty good. I noticed the progression of mancannon platforms and the "stepping stone" areas because they remind me of similar areas in my map. Im gonna DL and check it out, however, it would be nice if you could add a weapon list to your post.
I haven't really seen a map like this before, it just has a different set up, or feel to it. I hope it is great to play on, but it does look like fun.
