Hey all! This is the first map I'm posting on Forge Hub, and it's called "The Hole". It's an asymmetrical map made in an alcove next to Hemorrhage. The back story is that it was a dig site that is now fought over for ancient technologies, but I didn't feel like elaborating more. Both bases have a teleporter that leads to an overhang in the cliff wall, with a focus rifle (because the sniper rifle was to over-powering), with some cover. Both sides of the map have half of a round bunker sticking out of the wall with a needler and some plasma-grenades. In the center, there's a bridge extending out of the wall with rockets on the end. There's a teleporter in the underside of the bridge that leads to the top if you don't have a jet pack. Right next to it, (closer to red base), is a shotgun leaning against the rock wall. On the side opposite of the bridge is a double triple building with a grenade launcher and some plasma-grenades in it, but you need a jet pack to get to it. In the center of the map on the ground is a concussion rifle with some plasma-grenades. On both bases there are a couple of DMR's, a needle rifle, and a plasma repeater. There are 2 or 3 DMR's across the map besides those at the bases. Most people have complained that jet packs dominate this map, but the map is so open in the air that it is balanced if you look up every once in a while, (like you should anyway). The needle bunkers are great for disappearing but are susceptible to explosives. There are rocks littering the ground and are pretty good cover so use it to you advantage. Weapon's List DMR x6 Needle Rifle x2 Plasma Repeater x2 Needler x2 Focus Rifle x2 Grenade launcher Rocket Launcher Concussion Rifle Shotgun Please give some feedback! Much thanks! Here's an overview from the Blue side. And from the Red side. Some action shots. Rushing rockets!
