The invasion of Reach has brought the fight to the Spartan-II training facilities. Inspired by the classic Halo 3 map The Pit, The Hole has some key similarities and differences. All the power weapons remain the same (energy sword, rocket launcher, sniper, and shotgun), but their location and accessability has been accounted for per Reach gameplay. For example, the sword is easily taken if one spawns with sprint, so it is not spawned at the start of the match. The sniper rifle can easily dominate the map if used correctly, so only one clip has been allotted to it. There is quite an elevation difference in the middle of the map, dubbed the "Dance Floor", as most of the fighting will take place here. Players can head to the back alley, however, and flank the opposition whilst getting a clear line-of-sight into the enemy base structures. This map supports Multiflag, Team slayer, Assault, King of the Hill, Crazy King, Stockpile, and Headhunter. P.S. It's my first map post, can someone help me clean this up??? Thanks! Dancefloor!
