this is where we can discuss anything to do with morrowind (and oblivion if we get REALLY bored) me and GWS will probably begin by continuing our conversation we started in the favorite games thread, but basically you can post your character or questions about quests or skills (i know them for Morrowind and Oblivion) or anything related to the games.

Yay, you made the thread! Man, Morrowind is so awesome it needs its own... something. Best Game Ever.

well, it's got it's own thread, it's own sequel & prequels, huge fanbase and a s%^tload of money behind the developers, so i think there is something missing...
oh and for those who were wondering, i'm a level 42 Nord with 87 skill with battle axe.

I'm a level *something above 50* Dark Elf with 100 skill in Acrobatics and Athletics and somewhere pretty high in every other skill. It was fun, trying to level up. Just bunny-hopping everywhere for my Acrobatics and when that was done, trapping myself under the ice in Solthseim and just swimming around for the Athletics. When I got bored I would just adventure. Vvardenfell was like a second home to me, back before I got my 360. Trekking around the countryside and running away from about a hundred of every creature imaginable in the ashlands, visiting ruins and dunmer camps/tribes... ah, the memories...

yeah, but when i reached 39 or something around that, i started doing the main quest, i got to the part where you had to reunite all the tribes, but i couldn't get any further. i also made head of telvanni, which was sweet but they put my stronghold in the middle of f-ing nowhere. but it was the ashlands so i didn't mind too much.

Ashlands always pwns, no matter where.
And, what a coincidence: I was stuck at reuniting the houses too. I find it impossible. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure that I stuffed something up pretty bad.

think about that first bit for a second...

and i'm reuniting the tribes, not the houses, i never got up to that, there is apparently a shortcut if you kill vivec but i never bothered trying it. we should totally get shock in here to find out his stats.

Oh, are you supposed to be finding some amulet or ring or something or have you found it?

OK... Can't remember that bit. Have you got the ring/amulet that the tribe sent you to get though? The one that triggers the little cutscene?
So you're re-uniting the ashlander tribes, not the big important houses like telvy and stuff.

In Oblivion I reached about 35 and did the main quest thrice then I realised that I had explored litterally everywhere and then I traded it in. I'd never trade in Morrowind though, even though I have literally no way of playing it now, and I haven't seen it for the Mac either, which is what I have.

Yeah. I traded it in before I made my new live account so that's why you won't see it when you compare games. I had 1000 GS though, just not the ones for the DLC stuff which I didn't have at the time because I couldn't download it from a Marketplace that I didn't have..

UGH! I just realized we're talking about Oblivion and not Morrowind!

Let's get back to TES III (Morrowind) Shall we?

    lol, talking mudcrab.
In that gigantic highway-type place that leads to Red Mt's front door I kept getting distracted by all these Daedric ruins and eventually got Vampirism lol. It was a shitty n00b account anyway, an Orc with all the strength **** (I think I was about 8 when I made it) that went around killing people in the mushroom place to get their Dwemer armour, and the only reason I was there in the first place is that I had a death warrant at the time. My only regret was that I was already a 25 at the time.

Yeah, i've had the game since age six because my best friend got it as a present for his fifth birthday. Back then, we were pro halo players but we had no knowledge of that RPG stuff and just made **** guys. Y'know at the start when you're going through the office place, if you steal everything you see on the way (well, the stuff that's safe to steal) including the street lamps (don't forget the lighthouse too!) and sell them to the trader you'll get early money. I invented that strategy before I even knew about internet guides & cheats.
Yeah. Pro halo players in kindergarten. Funny, isn't it... I think I've lost some skill at halo. Still unnaturally awesome with the sniper though.

lol, so i wasn't the only one robbing the imperial office, i found a way to get the gold plate thing on the shelves, i was so proud of myself.
but after creating 2 characters, i decided to try and understand the game, and it only went up from there.

Yeah, I started to comprehend **** at about 7 or 8.
Yeah, robbing the office is one of my favourite hobbies even though it takes a while. After I'm gone, EVERY SINGLE BIT of furniture will be gone, from every room, except for the guarded ones. I stole the lamps too. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
