Remember the older movie, the crow? The one where the guy and his girlfriend get killed but the crow carrying his soul doesn't take it to heaven and he comes back to life immortal and is trying to get revenge for his girlfriend but in the end ends up dying. The movie was very moving and had a deep meaning, and it would really be fun to be put into that kind of position... What do you guys think? Should somebody attempt it?
IMO it wasn't a great movie, and it probably wouldn't make a passable game. If I remember correctly he didn't have any powers, he just couldn't die, he didn't have any fights with super powered people, or any large amounts of enemies really. So, unless you completely changed and mutated the story, I don't see it being done.
No he didn't really have powers except seeing from the crows point of view, but it probably could be done as an extension of the original plotline, plus that awesome last fight with the bad guys in the factory or whatever it was.
I mean, I technically see how it's possible, but I really doubt you could pull a good game out of the idea. Or even a passable one really.
Yeah, it wasn't an actually serious question but I thought it could be cool even if it just captured the feel of the movie with a different plot to it. That's just what I thought when I watched it seeing as it could be like a combo of assassins creed and batman or something... Idk, I know the potential is there, wether or not it could be done properly is another question though like you were saying.
