The Crossing Created by I Cottage I Players spawn at opposite bases and they must protect there bomber as he tries to crosses the giant wall to bomb the enemy base. The tricky part is that both teams are trying to cross the wall at the same time so there is always constant battling going on in there. Once a team is able to push the enemy back, they are able to get close enough to attempt to arm the bomb. Best played with 8-12 players. I like this map. It's fairly basic, but could be lots of fun. One adjustment I made to the map was I added three "Fence Walls" that are sitting on the roof above where the dumpsters are. (3 on each side of the map). Having the dumpsters and that little base area allows for one to gernade jump out of the map fairly easily (my friends ***** the gernade jump, so I always take measures to prevent them from doing so.) :>
Sometimes simplicity is the basis of elegance, this map is such a simple concept, but it works so freakin well. Awesome job Cottage.
LAWL!!! I just noticed, that's me Crossing the Wall (the blue guy being shot), with cottage leading the way, bomb in hand, bashing people as he goes.
me and my friends played this and tried basic 2 flag ctf, but both flags spawned out side of the map, so after a grenade jump i just went and cheated till the game was up, so it was fun but i didnt know it wast set up for ctf lol, good simple map tho
:squirrel_jaffa: I haven't gotten enough people to play a real game but it looks really fun. With the small party I played with, there was always a lot of action.
the best thing about this map is the "Awe, man, I was so close" feel. And the satisfaction when you win.
