THE CREED v2 (To those few lucky souls that were able to play the original Creed v1, I personally thank you. And no more column exploiting ;P) The Creed v2 Map Variant: Click Here! AC Rules v2 Rules Variant: Or Here! The Creed is an Infection gametype based off of the Assassin's Creed concept. The Assassins, which consist of one to four players depending on game size, all spawn together in the Assassin's Hideout conveniently placed in the back-center of the map. ~~Assassin's Hideout Closeup~~ In addition, the Hideout is home to 4 custom powerups which allow the Assassins to pick up the Spike Grenades (aka throwing knives) as weapons. Otherwise, the Assassins cannot pick up weapons. On the far left-hand (by the Flame Column), far center, and far right-hand (behind The Watchtower) corners of the map spawn the Templars, who were sent out to kill the Assassins. Along with the customary Energy Sword that the Assassins have, the Templars also spawn with a Spartan Laser for longer-range fighting (reasons for this are explained later). ~~Left Templar Spawn, Flame Column, and Firepit~~ The Assassins, with their training in stealth, perception, and camouflage, have extra powers to counter the Templars' firepower and numbers. First of all, the Assassins have 75% gravity compared to the Templars' 150%, which allows for the freedom and flow of movement from building to building and ground to building (crouch-jumping recommended) effortlessly. In addition, the Assassins' enhanced perception pays off with 25 meter enhanced radars (versus the Templars' 25 meter allied radars) and Templar waypoint markers. This allows for the Assassins to gather their intelligence and plan out a master strategy before they swoop in for the kill. Finally, the Assassins have camouflaged themselves as Templars, which means that the only way to tell the difference between them is with markers and target reticules. In addition, since everyone is human (in nature at least), both the Assassins and the Templars have one life. Better use it well... ~~Arch and Assassins' Hideout - Right View~~ Now that this game has made you intrigued (you got this far!) I would like to explain why some decisions in the game were made, starting with the use of the Spartan Laser. The Templars have this weapon in order to force the Assassins to use stealthy, guerrilla-like tactics in order to decimate the Templar horde. Otherwise, the game may end up as a hack-and-slash with the Assassins barging right at the Templars, throwing their grenades and getting into unevenly-matched swordfights. The surrounding buildings provide ample cover for the Assassins and care is taken so that no spot can be attacked from less than three directions (if there is any cheap spots please post them, constructive criticism is helpful!). In addition, there are many ways to smoothly flow up and between buildings, which means that the ground level is mostly used for Templar kills. Finally, since everyone has the same armor color, the Spartan Laser can be made into a nervous person's betrayal weapon and can be booted by host (betrayal booting is disabled incase of accidental betrayals) if the problem becomes continual. ~~Arch and Assassin's Hideout - Left View~~ Thus, The Creed is a tactical and stealthy game on both sides and requires a large amount of teamwork in order to survive. The Assassins must use strategy and guerrilla tactics in order to kill the Templars, while the Templars must use observation, communication, and close proximities to limit the effect of and kill off the Assassins. ~~Covered Benches~~ Even More Pictures! ~~Flat Building~~ ~~The Watchtower~~ ~~Under the Arch - Facing the Right Side~~ Enjoy =D!
Wouldn't it work better if the assassins were Invisible? I think the whole Disguise idea wouldn't really work too well.. Ahh well. I'll download it and try it tonight, and i'll tell you what I think.
It looks like you just slaped things on the map without caring about the appearance of the map. I need to see some gameplay pictures, theres nothing really to look at but walls. I want to see some action. im going to have to pass for the download.
I'll try to post a video on gameplay tonight, I haven't even thought of putting one up to be honest...I'm a Forgehub first-timer to be honest so thanks for the help
