    (I messed up on the map description on bungie, it's supposed to be 2 - 3 players)

    Made for full speed racers! Takes place in the (future) curvy country side. You even get to go on mini railroad tracks! 2 - 3 players. Use with RACETRACKS

    Story:

    I played a racing map and somehow I caught onto the side of a ledge with one side of my mongoose, and I kept going even though I was practically up-side-down, so I decided to make a thing like that, except with two ledges that had room for only the wheels of the mongoose, then I added more cool and exciting features to make a decent, original, and awesome racing map.

    Description:

    This is a very original map that includes:
    -a near all double wide track
    -MANY aesthetics
    -a rather large jump
    -nearly unable to cheat (not even worth to try)
    -3 tilted and merged turns
    -an effective and fair starting zone
    -and more

    Also, this map is made for racers to go full speed the whole way, especially when racers hit the mancannons (;

    Overview

    The start that has starting lights and a gravity lift that spawns in ten seconds to start the race

    Tips:

    -When hitting the mancannons, try to drive as fast as you can into the middle, where the custom power up is
    -When going into the narrow mini railroad thing, try turning early, and make enough room to make a smooth and straight transition into the railroad
    -At the start, try going right against the dumpster, so that when it starts you'll have a head start
    -When racing against other people, make sure to have gone through the map, and get the feel of it
    -at the 2nd turn (with the large tilted stairs/bridges) try going as fast as you can into it, and feel free to take a wide turn, instead of a narrow turn where you might hit the doors

    Looks like a fairly good racetrack to me, but some more pics would be very nice. You should also geomerge some stuff such as the box that the dumpster goes into. Very nice though. Good job.

    I do have pics up... if anybody else is having trouble, then please tell me. Oh yea, and about the dumpster thing, it is merged on the other side, but you can't see it... those pics aren't the best, but if you watch the preview, then you can get the whole effect.

    To many regular items were used, it takes away the feel of neatness... That's just me though

    I feel the same about this map than I do about your other racing map. Great, interesting ideas with a lot of flawed execution that leads to very bad gameplay.

    I'm sorry to reply to every post, but please, people, if you comment, please download or at least watch the preview... it's not that bad, the overview pic is just just not at a good angle, and it just looks messy from there (yea, it looks messy from an angle... it's possible), but when you're in first person, it's very clean.. this map took a long time to make, it uses a lot of tricks, it has great aesthetics, and I tested it about 30 times. If it's really that bad, well, I just won't believe it until a couple more negative comments.

    EDIT:
    do tell me, did you play it?, or are you basing this off the pics? I don't know if it's just the fact that you saw my crappier racing map first and you got a bad impression about my map making abilities, but I really thought this map was kind of good... I mean there have been all negative posts so far... idk, but I guess I'm just bummed out :(
    Oh yea, what do you think is so flawed in this map? (I did merge pretty well, and there aren't any bumps)

    Wow. I saw the preview video and it looked great! The starting gate is like nothing Ive ever seen. I'm just about to DL. I hope it is as fun as the video looked.

    The overall map is great, but it has its looming flaws. Bad news first: the starting gate is a bit too small, and can be unfair to anyone but the front two racers. The shield doors on the first banked turn are very abnoctious because if you hit one, you fly backwards. Although I do like the mancannons boosting you to the second floor of the track, the entrance and the exit of them can get a bit bumpy (mostly the exit though). The rest of the second floor is great, except for the turn leading you into the skinny bridge, due to the grav lifts, shield doors, and the angle. I fell into it once, but I was in reverse, so I guess thats fine. The landing into the second lap also didn't land alot of the time, but those shield doors are tricky. I suppose cheating is possible by driving off after getting the VIP point, but who cares about honor rules, they're fine. Also, some of the ground track is a bit confusing. Using teleporters or weapon holders to point you in the right direction. Those are really just minor issues, but it'll take away from the score.

    The execution was good, but the ideas were awesome, from the starting gate, to the skinny bridge thing, to the shield door landings. The winners podium (or whatever it is) was a really cool addition. I hope you can improve upon this otherwise amazing racetrack with these tips. We'll keep a lookout for V2.

    if you can't see where they're are... then i'll tell you:
    -there is a soccer ball pyramid thing behind the roadblocks
    -there is a winners podium at the would be base that would be located furthest from where you start (kind of confusing)
    -there is a forklift tower on the turn right before the mancannons
    -there are a few small aesthetics, such as cones on each dumpster, and some more stuff like that
    Thanks for the very in depth review! I like the suggestions and everything... but I'm probably not going to make a v2... I rarely make v2's on race maps or anything really small... (I consider competitive and casual maps to be large), but again.. thanks

    Lol thats funny I make V4's of my racetracks. I guess I consider them large. So I veto your decision to leave this map "unfinished." It has so much potential.

    love the gate, love the thin bridge thing, and i like how u made the transfer to the upper level, even though u prolly got lucky while filming...looks kinda cheatable btw! (make tellys up high)

    yea, the RACETRACKS game type
    Actually, surprisingly that transfer to the upper level is pretty accurate if you hit it full speed and in the middle of the man cannons. It's not too hard to do, I guess it just takes practice. AND it only took two tries to make that vid... It is cheatable, but the only way to get to it is from that upper jump side, so I guess I could put teleporters up there... that's if I make a v2

    oh yeah and...
    Thanks for all of the comments people and I hope to be hearing more on my new Sky Island map coming out August 20th

    That's pretty much what I go for in my maps, originality... I think that that's the best way to get noticed
