    I know what you are thinking. That look like The Cage. You are quite the observer! I basically got the idea, because I had problems with the map. So rather than complain about it. I made some changes. I want you to keep in mind that I only did this as an experiment. I didn't add new hill areas or stuff to make the gametypes utilize the new areas. I only added in a couple spawn points and extended spawn regions to accompany the spawn points. I also added a few weapons. I will talk about each part in each shot.

    I was thinking, we or Bungie, could make the changes to the maps that are needed. Rather than shipping a map and letting it go stale, and allowing the problems to persist. Why not change things?

    The first section is the sniper area. As you can see it's a little more built up by placing this small building in the area. The lift was moved a couple fee to the side and forward. The sniper rifle has been moved to the roof of the building. This change means it takes longer for either team to get to the sniper(usually red since they are slightly closer). And when the sniper appears it will be more visible to both teams. With the new (read shorter) draw distances it is harder to make out the details at a distance. Here is a reverse angle to get a better idea of what it looks like.

    Here is the Blue Base additions. Up top you will notice the extra wall on the other side of the Health pack. People were able to camp it too easily, so now grenades can be easily banked to clear it out. You may also notice the large wall is also slightly reshaped to make climbing it better(not for non-jetpackers though)

    The grenade launcher was moved to the pad below it(the new one I added). In its place I put a Plasma Cannon. The ramp ramp that leads to the lower section adds to the ways to attack the blue base that were sorely needed(same for the red base too)

    If you look back to the first picture you will notice that the Plasma/Rocket Launcher(depending on the gametype) has new bridges that lead towards both bases. Both paths add a new loop that wasn't possible before. There is also a small bridge leading from the downstairs center platform to the new lower blue platform.

    I also found the Red Base a little too easy to defend. This new lower ramp is akin to the lower ramp found on Pinnacle/Asscension, that leads to the back of the base. I think this will stop people from being able to camp as easily when they have more angles to worry about. Also to highlight some of the "Cat & Mouse" gameplay that occurs there, I also added in a new half-circle balcony that I think was a much needed addition.

    Funny enough. This little balcony is the part I am proud of the most.

    So I basically threw this together in 15 mintues. This isn't a complete overhaul. It wasn't intended to be. It was an experiment to see if we could make the basic maps better. I love making my own uniue maps. But with the amazing features forge has, there is no reason to let the shipped maps sit back on their laurels.

    What do you think? It's more about the concept of taking community suggestions and improving on existing maps.

    Hey there! I like the additions you've made to The Cage. I don't really enjoy playing on that map seeing as there's only two or three ways around it and I find myself getting killed a lot. It looks like you've made some more routes around the map, which is cool! I'm not too sure about players being allowed on top of the big wall without a jetpack, but that's my only criticism.

    Unfortunately, my Xbox red-ringed yesterday so I cannot do any play-testing. But it's in my DL queue for when my Xbox is fixed :)

    I think I worded that statement wrong. I believe you can't get up there without some help. I tried to make it just beyond reach for anyone who is unaided.
