    DESCRIPTION
    The black pearl is a pirate themed map and i do realize that its proble not the first pirate themed map ever made. But does it matter? I think if the map is made well enough then the map speaks for itself.
    I designed this map to create a difffernt style of game play. I tried to make the map so that it wasnt just a remake of somethin but actually a desent strategic game. That can be enjoyed all round!

    * this is my first map that i am posting so if any tips or tricks can be suggested it will be greatly appreciated!

    * This map is a first addition it has beeen made to the best of my ability but with out further game play the final addition cant be produced. Thats where you come in!

    *There is stilll plenty of things i would of liked to do with this map but, do to budget i was unable. I had to budget my self the whole way just to fit all that in.

    * I wasnt quite shore what you would class this map so i placed it in casual just for kicks.

    BASIC OVERVIEW of map
    teams start in 3 areas: on the ship, and in the left and right weapon rooms. At this point it is a battle towards the ship teams may be required to board the ship and go below deck and bust members of the team out of the brig wile the battle surrounds them. the ship is boarded from three different ways man canon, custom power up (set on 5sec, low gravity, fast speed) and grave lift. as this battle goes on surroundind the ship a second ship spawns (the flying duchman) which alows greater access to both ships and also provides more battle ground and weapons.
    Welll this is the idea anyway.

    KEY FEATURES
    * 2 pirate ships the black pearl and the flying duchman
    * The flying duchman spawns later in the game
    * 4 levels on the pirateships, 1 hull, 2 main deck, 3 captains courters, 4 top deck.
    * 2 brigs which are soaly used for team based games. Wait for rescue or try and brake out. The first brig is fairly hard to brake out, so rescue is proble your best option. This brig is only used at the start of the game so it should be a big deal. The second brig is fairly easy to brake out so you shouldnt have any problems.

    * x1 carbine rifle
    * x1 needler
    * x1 shotgun

    * x1 fire grenades
    * x1 plasma grenade
    * x2 bubble shield
    * x1 energy drain
    * x1 overshield
    * x1 invisable
    * x2 custome power up, set on low gravity and high speed for a short time. To aid in boarding the ships.

    VEHICLES
    * x1 gause warthog
    * x2 mongoose

    GAME TYPES
    this map plays all game types but its recomended that these types should be played
    * slayer
    * infection
    * 1 flag
    * 1 bomb
    * juganaute

    oh and let us no what you think bout the flying dutchman spawning later in the game.

    From what we can see, there is no interlocking. Which is a real must for a neat an clean map, especially with a ship.

    there actualy is to a degree. its hard to make a ship out of square objects i interlocked most of them. also with the budget i had to cut back a bit.
    the pictures dont really do it any justice.

    Definitely include overview pictures to show the map, not just action shots. Maybe show pictures of other interesting parts, such as the brigs

    I've seen better, but seeing as this is only your third post it is quite good,
    keep making maps, eventuelly the experience will kick in :)
