The best map editor/creator for "360"

Anyways I think Halo 3 is the best map editor/creator. I have not played the farcry editor yet however so I cannot judge accordingly.

I really waiting for that "swarm game" not sure it has a map editor but it should rock in general...it has a character editor?

I have had a love-hate relationship with the farcry editor, I defiantly wouldn't say it's the best after spending a year of my life using it. I have created some pretty amazing stuff with it, but the fact of how difficult sharing your maps were and the overall farcry community made the how feeling that you accomplished something diminish.

And Farcry instincts and predator were full of so many bugs that it surpass the point of annoying.

But with all the Issues the game had it is still amazing.

I can't wait for Farcry 2 (as long as you can skip the title cut scene in it...unlike a cerain instincts...)

 

i agree with you i tihnk Far Cry had the best map editor like you could chage every about the map and mka eit into anything>< it was amazing the only thing was when i got far cry and went online no one would play my map

 

I beg to differ. IMO (in my opinion-kids) Call of Duty 4 has the greatest map editor so far. In addition to FC in which you can change the lighting map height etc. COD4 has better gameplay so the map making is much more rewarding. It is spectacular, you can change the weather effects, make buildings, nature and it all has COD4 level graphics. Unlike Halo the map making is not restricted and you can make maps from scratch which grants you alot more freedom in map designing.

yea dude farcry's map editor is great, you can make hills or ditches, add trees, the works, its definantly 1 up on halo

 

I wonder if Bungie got lazy on the Forge part... I kinda think Forge is still a little too limited.
