You're all mostly saying democracy as the best choice, but in all actuality, it is an incredibly sluggish form of government. Imagine having to vote for every single bill, every law, organization of power grids, road and highway placement, economic reforms, etc. In this global era, it would be nearly impossible to grow (economically, technologically, socially, etc) at a similar, if not higher rate than competing nations. However, every fabricated system of government or economy has its own enormous flaws, and thus will take a very, every long time to conjure anything truly worth implementing. For now, I'm in favor of this. Whoo! I'm unrealistic!
Why tax the rich more? Because they have more success we should make them pay more? Everybody should have the same taxes, unless they can't pay taxes, period. If I had become a millionaire, I would be happy (naturally) with my income and my ability to pay my debts, etc. But because I work harder than everybody else you're going to make me pay more taxes? No way. The idea of taxing the rich more is just absurd to me. Let everyone have the same taxes, except for the low class having less.
Trickle down economics has never worked very well. Taxes help regulate currency at a more proficient pace. Therefore, growth and less class struggle.
Dude, lol, a Democracy is not ran like that. The onyl things that are voted for is the goveronment positions like President, Goveroner, Mayor and things like that. That is possible, who told you we vote for every little thing
Dictator ship mixed with a little bit of Communism every now and then. And you better believe Im the dictator
I would say Dictatorship has to have the have the highest potential to fail but if its a success and you get a leader with the peoples best interests in mind, it can be the best form of government.
So then couldn't you say democracy is just that? Its by the people, for the people, and still has people in higher power.
Not really, the dictator will do what he thinks will be the best for the people. The people have no choice but to go along with it wether they like it or not. Personaly, I think Monarchy would be great if the monarch was trained from birth how to be a leader. But, the leader is only human so that idea would fail quickly.
Dictatorship is a system of government that is ruled by a single person, with what I have described its more like by a person, for the people. Democracy is a much more sluggish form of government which requires a large group of people all voting simultaneously for every singe decision large or small. It should be definitely be streamlined if a country wants to be able to keep up with everything.
The problem with a benign dictatorship, one that governs for the people, is that being in power seperates you from the people. The more you go on, the further from the people you get. Representative democracy is a good halfway house. You get strong leaders who get to do what they want, but they have to keep the people in mind if they want to stay in power.
