Me like all the characters currently present... Though I will agree that Pikachu is starting to look like an odd one out. Maybe if we include Ash from Pokemon and take out Pikachu that will be better but it's a little odd I think having Pikachu.

I like the addition of Tenshi, but I still don't think Pikachu fits. Is there a better quality render of the guy on the left? Maybe try throwing Yuno there and see how it looks.

Actually, I think the Ash thing is a pretty good idea, all things permitting.

I think if there is room, or if possible, add Akira Takizawa from Eden of the East?

    Yes, lol.

I'm tempted to start watching Love Hina, anyone got anything else I could watch?

Watch "Another", so far it's ****in sweet although you might have to have a strong stomach. (some of the deaths are rather sudden and gruesome) It's like if you combined Final Destination with some kind of school anime, but better.

Another one you could watch would be... Fate/stay night and its prequel Fate/zero.

    Banner update:
While my innternet was down, and I couldn't see the new suggestions like adding Ash instead of pikachu or Akira takizawa or putting Yuno in Okabe's place... so many things to try. Anyways, I upped the contrast on the Background and added some reflected lighting onto the characters so it looks like the background lights are shining on them a little.

I don't really like the reflective lighting that you added, personally. I find it makes the image "too" bright for my taste, and adding reflective lighting seems like your getting really into making this. Which although is great, it seems the banner is now just starting to get complicated.

Anime wise... Anyone has any ideas on Anime movies on par with Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli movies? After watching the newest film from Studio Ghibli it got me into wanting to watch more Anime movies.

I believe you would like this then if similarities to studio ghibli are what you are looking for. It's english name is quite a mouthful, but its still good nonetheless. Fair warning, it's only subbed.

    Banner update:
Took into account Commandermatts comment about lighting making it too bright.

Without lighting, though it's only a subtle difference so it doesn't really matter.

I just recently finished watching Arakawa Under the Bridge and strongly recommend it to people looking for a comedy with a little (and I mean little) bit of romance.

I'd also recommend Katanagatari if your looking for some good martial arts/romance/comedy. It also has fantastic animation.

Although it's not much of a difference I definitely prefer the banner without the lighting. And noticing the one with the lighting some parts of the characters in the banner looks transparent so I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.

    On topic:
Thanks for the suggestion in the movie. The director of the movie is someone I try to keep up with because he is called the "next" Miyazaki in terms of likeness in style and Animation.

Well I just finished HotD last night, and I gotta say it was pretty good. I'm still not comfortable with the fact that there is major boobage, because that mixed with zombies dosen't really go in harmony IMO.

But you've got to say the story is very good and it flows rather well, unlike some where there are some major continuity errors.

I watched more Angel Beats last night, and nearly cried. It's the first time I've ever become emotionally attached to the story and I was quite touched at the characters feelings.

Last time I cried from an anime was from Steins Gate, then prior to that, Spice and Wolf.

I don't think there was ever a time when I cried due to anime. I mean, the ending of Code Geass was emotional, but I didn't cry.

I cried at the end of Clannad and Ano Hi Mita. Two of the saddest anime I've watched to date.

Bad idea to watch anime during my Games Design class. Nearly cried again. Damn you Angel Beats! Why is your story so touching?

Asch, have you finished the final touches to the banner yet?

I'm going to ask a silly question but it's for the sake of reliving my childhood a little. Has anyone seen any of the newer seasons or series' of Pokemon? I remember liking the first few when I was younger but stopped abruptly when it became "uncool" to like pokemon. (although I still secretly played the handheld games all the way into 8th grade and even some nowadays)

If anyone has seen them, could you let me know if they are worth watching, or if they are crap like the new Yu-gi-oh series' whatever they are called... GX or something.

To be honest, I feel the Pokemon anime is mainly seen as good due to nostalgia. The games and Special are better. (The newer anime is probably worse, although it's not being dubbed by 4Kids anymore, thankfully.)

Started reading the Durarara manga earlier, only on chapter 7, so I'm not gonna come up with an opinion of it yet, but it's interesting enough that I'll keep going.

Also, wasn't Funimation gonna dub PSG? What ever happened to that? I was looking forward to seeing how that was handled. (Their site has subs, but nothing about a dub.)

I stopped watching Pokemon because I got too old for it. This happened a long time ago... and I'm 14. It was good when I was around 8, but I've grown too old for it now.

Speaking of kids' anime, I was in love with Yu-Gi-Oh when I was little. I still have some of the cards packed away in my attic I think.
