Well, I just read a chapter at random on Kissmanga and got hooked. I hate to start a manga while watching the anime, but I think I'll make the exception.
So yesterday i discoverd "another" so i decided to watch it today. Just finished, it was a well rounded horror/mystery. Character development was great and the death scenes sent shivers down my spine(a few times) it is only 12 episodes long, each one about 25 minutes. So i got through it quickly. Nice twist at the end as well. Through me off.
ah, don't remind me. I actually started to feel sick watching that (this is the censored version mind you). Those are up there with Asuka's death followed closely by nearly every characters' death in AoT when considering the worst deaths I've seen.
They really nailed suspense in another. I didnt watch any censored version though. That umbrella would have SUCKED!
Lol Auby you wimp. I've got two eps. of Another to go, best Death was the lift for me. The fact that she knew it was coming and couldn't stop it whereas the others just died without warning was a real twist. I'd hate to have that happen. I still can't tell which of Misaki's eyes is real and which is fake :/

Agreed abt the elevator. The green one is the fake(the one she keeps under the eyepatch) she keeps it covered because(as she says in the first few episodes and repeats at the end) "it sees things that should remain unseen"
Makes sense. Creepy stuff, probs gonna watch the last two before bed. To-Love Ru is finally almost all out on BD, which means all uncensored! YAY! Also downloading Motto To-Love Ru for the giggles.
My theories on Attack on Titan (up to the end of chapter 42) Spoilers for anyone not up to that point. Spoiler I think it is pretty obvious that Ryner, Bertholdt, and Annie were Titans, along with the other girl whose name I cant remember. All of them turned into them. Now, remember that the one titan was stuck in the house earlier? My thoughts are that the titans are some sort of infection, get bit and survive and you end up turning into one. Or in Eren's case, get experimented on by your father and have titan blood put in you (that bit is just theory). I also think that Eren's father knew/knows ALOT about the titans. As in, the truth about the titans is probably in his basement lab.
AoT spoilers Spoiler I was thinking the exact same thing with the titan laying on the house. Connie mentioned it looked like his mother and it still seemed to have some reason given it spoke, so I figure it was her in the midst of transformation. As for the rest of the village, I feel as though they were kidnapped. I honestly can't think of any other reason for their disappearance, but looking at how unpredictable this series is, that's probably far from the right guess. The one thing I can't figure out whatsoever is the gorilla titan (for lack of better name). When he was first introduced, I figured he was the ringleader of the group that had the ability to become titans, but he didn't seem to have any idea about the 3D manuever gear. There something I may need you to shed some light on, haha. In the chapters leading up to 42, it was mentioned that titans were actually in the walls acting at supports. For example, there was shown to be a titan in their after Annie (in her titan state) broke a little piece of the wall. I can't quite figure out if that's true or not. Also, was the titan in there the colossal one (Bertholdt)? I looked like it, but I couldn't really tell. EDIT: I also don't feel as though the group of human-titan peeps are necessarily bad. Annie, for example, despaired a little after she had accidentally fell on those people in the church and Ryner protected his teammates various times. EDIT 2: Perhaps the people at Connie's village were given some serum that made them turn into titans? That would explain why there was no blood and how the titans are getting in without breaching the wall. The large group of titans that the 104th squad noticed was heading towards them were coming from the south I believe. IIRC, that's where Connie's village was located. Maybe the gorilla titan is somehow turning them into titans given he was coming from the south as well. That said, I do think the gorilla has bad intentions as opposed to the others. That brings up another thing I have a question about. Was Connie's village inside of the walls? or was it just sitting defenseless outside of them? I couldn't quite figure that out either.
EDIT: Up to end of chp 45 now Spoiler Haven't started up 46 yet, but it looks like my theory on bertholdt, ryner and annie not being enemies is gonna be right. Also, Looks like Ymir isnt currently allied with the other three or eren. I think they tried to (and just now, succeeded) kidnap eren in order to bring him up to par on titan transforming and why they are they way they are, in hopes of swaying him to their 'side'. Also, sky, you might as well just read the manga. Get some kinda manga app for your phone and you can read it whenever you have downtime instead of having to get home and be on a computer for the anime (which is worth watching still)
Im currently watching code geass, i used to watch it with my brother when i was younger(cant remember a thing about it) but i remember that i liked it so i figured out what it was and am now hooked again. Great anime is great.
I have the Crunchyroll app for my tablet so I can lie in bed and watch it. I just haven't got around to doing so yet.
yeah, but downtime for anime and downtime for manga ae different. You could read manga on the toilet or in line at the bank. Anime, not so much.
