Yep, the movie comes last. It's not in any chronological order with the series, though. EDIT: the movie does solve a minor mystery from the series, so I would definitely watch the latter first.
yes. Watch the 2009 version, then the movie. As I said before, the 09 version includes the 05 version, in chronological order and also has more episodes after those. Haruhi is one those diablolically convoluted anime that is confusing for people who dont know which is in chronological order.
Also, skip endless 8 unless you want to torture yourself for 8 episodes. Just watch the first and last ones, it's easier and still makes sense.
Agreed. Unless you REALLY want to watch all of the series, but even then, endless 8 is tough to get through. As a prior warning in case you don't know what that means; the endlss 8 are a series of 8 episodes back to back that go overthe same day that is repeating itself over and over. there are some slight differencesin what happens each one, and it isnt recycling the same animation, but the fact that they are SO similar makes it almost pointless watching all of them but the first and last of the 8.
By the way, I found out the other day that Hellsing Ultimate is apparently now up to volume 8. Last I heard of it was when 4 came out and they didn't know if they were gonna make the others in Japan let alone dub them over....
Railgun Season 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just as epic as the last season, I WANT MORE. Also found Photo Kano, a fanservice-y/ecchi anime about a guy who has a camera taking photos, based of a dating sim game.
I think the first episode just came out yesterday. I'm going to have to watch that tonight. I just finished Shinsekai Yori recently and I can say it is quite possibly the most intelligent anime I have ever seen. Up there with Monster and Steins;Gate in that regard. I definitely recommend it to you guys although it has about the same dialogue/action mix as Bakemonogatari but less witty and comedic. Shinsekai yori - MyAnimeList.net
Railgun S2 has been out a while. Unless you mean a sequel instead of a second season, in which case I havent heard anything about that.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S. It's based off the manga a bit more than the first season, which I count as all 26 episodes.
see, thats what throws me off, you refer to a sequel as a second season, while saying the second season is just part of the first. Just difficulty with the way you worded it is all. And since that is the case, does this new one focus on Accelerator more? because he is by far the coolest out of all the characters. And the least strange.
No, it goes much deeper into the Misaka Sisters Storyline, which is where the manga is currently going. (Up to vol 6 anyway) I know the sisters were covered a bit in the first 26 episodes of Index, so I'm not sure where they'll pick it up from but from the OP it looks like they're starting a bit further down the line.
HOOOOOOLD ON. I majorly derped earlier. I was thinking of Index, not Railgun that had a second season already. It clicked when you said they covered the sisters in the first 26 of index (implying you werent talking about it already) Sooo... my bad.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB. Yeah, watch the 2nd season. If you've not watched the first, DO IT. Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Bride also got released, same old booby waving anime, with more yuri.
I spose. I gave it a try a while ago after index but had some issues and never tried again since, might as well try again. It just seemed alot less action oriented than Index was (from what I remember seeing) And Ill pass on the booby waving yuri. I need to start watching anime a shitton again, getting Halo 4 made me stop watching for awhile.
Ya, I already skipped it by the time I saw your warnings. Haha. On to the next suggestion. Haruhi was good a little odd at times but good.
I'm starting Devil Survivor 2, same people that did Persona 4, thus a similar theme to it; demons. Like it so far, min character is the same VA as the one for Araragi in Bakemonogatari. Also started Red data girl, Dansai bunri no crime edge, Shingeki no kyojin and Hentai ouji to warawanai neko. hopefully the all are good.
Warawanai Neko is good. I've been keeping up with the manga although the releases are extremely slow. NHK, Waterfall?
Some of the Male VA's sound very alike, but the female VA's are easy to tell apart, even with completely different characters. Also, SAO fans can begin mourning now.
