I do believe he has. I know someone was talking about it earlier, I personally dont like it. Then again, that isnt my type of anime in the first place so, yeah.
So, this week was Mind**** week at uni. First up was Paprika, which was really good and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama and mystery. We also watched Doorbell, which I didn't understand at all and Noiseman Sound Insect, which was cool with all the sound effects, but again I didn't get the story very much. I've also pre-ordered this:
Sky, you might be interested in this: The preorder period might be done by the time you see this though. I think its sweet as ****. If it werent for the risque chest area, I would put this in my room. http://www.crunchyroll.com/store/deals/134/gurren-lagann-magical-nia-pre-order?src=email_134
Yeah, I saw that pop up the other day. It's cool but I'm really liking the GSC Nendoroids, they're so awesome!
I decided to start watching Usagi Drop, almost done with it and I love it so far. You probably wont appreciate it fully if youre younger though. Its about. 30 year old bachelor whose grandfather dies, and at his funeral his family finds out the grandfather had an illegitemate 6 year old girl with a woman who ran off and left her with him. They have trouble deciding where she should go and the protagonist decides to take care of her, and thats what its about. Really good imo, if you try it give the first 2 or 3 episodes a go, you should know if you like it from those. Also started reading shingeki no kyojin (Attack on Titan). Its gruesome, action packed and all around similar to Gantz and Berserk. Total opposite of Usagi Drop.
on the plus side, looks like RWBY is not going to be doing the fan service panty shot bullshit that so many of you get off on. http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=6934
Umad bro? Yeah, new trailer looks awesome, finally got a release date too! I prefer White to Red, simply because of her eyes.
Auburn your my friend now. I have the Premium Edition of Katanagatari. It is by far my favorite anime of all time.
Also, Yin. Not mad. Glad. Means I can actually watch this series without being disgusted by how many people are masturbating to it too much.
Ahh, yes katanagatari was very great, very great character development and storyline. Ending was fitting as well.
Oh, since its probably almost over, you guys should try out Zetsuen no Tempest. That is, provided you like dialogue heavy anime. Its kept me interested so far, so its pretty good.
I don't think RoosterTeeth wanted to make something along those lines. They're one of, if not the biggest independent machinima producers around. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Spring 2013 anime season: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27321415/2013-spring-chart.jpg Yes, it DOES say Japanese dub of MLP. Also, someone made this for me on another site, it's an awesome sig but it doesn't fit in the FH guides, which sucks
YEEEEEEEEESS! Shingeki no Kyojin's getting an anime, **** yeah. Why is it when I decide to read a manga, suddenly when I'm like half through it they decide to do an anime adaptation? happened with this, Btooom, and Berserk. This is gonna be good.
Does anyone know how the Evangelion movies/series work out? I've been looking to watch it, but I don't know where to start.
Yay, good series is good. I would personally recommend watching the original series followed by the End of Evangelion movie which is an alternate ending to the aforementioned. The original series ended abruptly on account of financial issues, thus the movie was later created to show the "real ending". Aside from those two, you have Death and Rebirth which is just a recap of the original series in addition to a sneak peak of End of Evangelion, so you could skip that. Than you have the Rebuild series which is a shortened remaster of the original series with an entirely new ending. Those are definitely good, but I would recommend the series instead just so you don't miss some parts that were in the original plotline. Thanks for those suggestions, Aschur. I started [C] Control some time ago when it first came out but never finished it. I'm going to start that back up again tonight. Now that I think about it, the soundtrack from FLCL sounds extremely similar to the one I posted. Which brings me to the next point. Waterfall or anybody else, you should give that a watch if you're up for it. It's a pretty short anime, but one of the best I have seen. Thanks for the suggestions, by the way. 11 Eyes was one of the manga series I was keeping up with, but they seem to have stopped updating it I'll give the anime a go.
White: on roosterteeth reminds me of the sword chick from SAO. But since it's dead in here... my current anime is fairy tail episode 140. I would like to start up again because i'm a bit all over the place Bobobo, card captor sakura, and reborn. I need to start watching puella magi, FLCL, and whatever the one with the guy in pointy red anime shades. I can't remember I might have more on my list...
I've been busy with airforce enlistment paperwork and stuff, so not much time for anime this week or next, I have snuck a couple episodes in though. Mainly just Zetsuen no Tempest and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha.
