Map Title: The Alamo An Asymetric siege Download Map Description: First off, this is my first Forge post so be easy please. It is a simple concept: one well armed base that needs to be infiltrated by an Attacking team. The team has several obstacles, including wide open ground, only a few points of entry, and many firepoints for the Defenders including a turret. But the Defenders don't have it easy by any means either, they have to organize and cover each other's flanks. There are no neutral spawns, so one team is always in control of the base and the other is always attacking. There are lots of possibilities, so I didn't include any premade gametypes. Some recommendations: Single flag CTF, King of the Hill (attackers need less time to win), BTB, Infection, etc. Here is an overview of the base. It is only accessible from the front, and from the far right through an upper catwalk entrance. Here are the catwalks. There are only two ways to get on them, both include going across open ground easily targeted by the Defenders. Once up there, Attackers can reach the Sword platform or try to get to the upper entrance. Here is a view of the front right corner of the base looking down near the Attacker's spawn. The turret can be easily sniped from the loft near the Attacker's spawn, so the turret gunner better make sure he has someone covering his right flank. Here is the view of the base from the Catwalks upper level. It is a good spot to BR, but there isn't much cover for the Attacker. Here is the inside of the base. It is fairly simple, but has good weapons for the Defenders. There is a shield door platform for them to guard from, but there is significant ground floor access as well as an upper entrance. I hope you guys like it, it is simple and like I said one of my first works. I am currently editing a few others and eventually will post some newer more creative ones. I like to think out the gameplay of the maps, but I don't have many opportunities to play test them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It looks like you put some effort into the description and the post. Can you make those pictures a little bigger?
