I use an iPhone, which is the exact same thing. I also only buy apps that cost money on my computer because of the clicking issue. I guess the $9.99 could look like $999, but there are too many other things that would be a red light to me. The app is called I am rich, the features clearly said that the thing is useless, the picture just shows a light, even if it looked like 9.99, 9.99 is ridiculously for anything other than a game, and if you actually do happen to click on the wrong one, you are asked "are you sure you want to purchase this." The person who bought also said he saw the price and purchased it because he and his friends thought it would be funny. I wish I had though of the idea first because A) It isn't a spam at all. B) It is an interesting artistic statement that really shows the stupidity, greed, and vanity of the human race. Armin Heinrich is a genius. Edit: With all that said, it is good that they took it off because it is just too much money because a kid could get on a parents account and buy it without releasing the consequences.
I can't beleive that someone would make such a stupid APP that cost so much. I can't beleive that the guy would make it cost so much just hoping that someone will buy it. I can't beleive that the guy who bought it is stuck in "limbo" waiting for some good news.
TexasHorn's brilliant statements about real diamonds compared to this little gem on your ipod was the perfect explanation for the entire concept of this app and proof that it's not that retarded of an initial idea I do realize how accidentally clicking things on an iphone isn't uncommon, why can't they just password the really expensive things, at least the little slide thing that you use to unlock the phone? that would make sense... but it wouldn't help this retard and his friends. lol.
