    Temple of Chaos

    Story
    The Holy Temple once stood proud for monks and holy soldiers alike. Soldiers would go their to cleanse their sins of the battlefield and pay their respects to their fallen brothers in arms. A few hundred years ago the temple was attacked by unholy warriors who banded together when banished from the holy land. They placed a curse on the temple that one day the dead shall rise.......
    200 years later and the temple is forgotten, a few soldiers though, have came to pay their respects to their ancestors. Upon arriving at the temple they see it is deserted and one of the great walls has began to crumble. They enter the temple and find a few scattered weapons and quickly realise that they are not alone...........................

    Right, I'll cut the crap and i know my story writing isn't the best. (I sort of based it on Warhammer 40000) This is one of those 'camping' maps, although you can be swarmed pretty damn quick by a few zeds. The main action is to take place in the corridor where around 5 lucky humans can arm themselves with weapons with little ammo. The zombie(s) will get released from their tomb after 20 seconds into the game. They can either attack head on or take the hidden escape route which takes some time to break into. The great wall on the zombie side is supposed to look all higglety pigglety and craply built (it is 200 years old) but don't worry it is interlocked. On the human side they have 1 turret placed in a hopeless location and a few weapons and ammo for an attempt to survive. Before I go any further, there is a few shotguns on the map, but you need to follow up with a melee to kill a zombie. All weapons either have 1 or no clips in them, so the fight can be over pretty quick. Righto now to show you some pics

    Weapon List

    2x Snipers-0 clips
    3x Shotguns (hidden, only 1 has an extra clip)
    4x SMG's - 1 clips per pair
    And some AR's

    Sorry about the lack of pics, it must make the map hard to understand but never fear! I'm doing a diagram for tomorrow.

    Oh yeah, and game traits

    Zombies - 100% shields and damage resistance
    150-200% speed
    75% gravity
    energy swords

    Humans are unchanged.

    The map was originally called Fort Nugg3t, but that just didn't go with the story. It's still got the original name on my file share.

    I like your idea of how zombies can attack from both sides, however, I think the map is a little too open. I don't know if you meant it that way, by saying "Most of the fighting takes place in the hallways" but if it does, that would get a little repetitive. But, good map overall, i like the temple entrance. 3/5

    This seems more like an aesthetic map and yes its way to open.

    this looks really badly made by the pics.
    it looks like there is only 3 buidings the default back hallway and an armoury.
    i cant dl this it just doesnt look like quality
    on the other hand, it has really goodinter locking but that doesnt say much if its only on four buldings.

    Thanks for the feedback guys. The map is only a little open at the Zombie area, I couldn't realy get the camera to show it all because the angle didn't capture it all. Everything on the map is quite close together apart from the 'tomb' where zack spawns.

    Looks a little open for my taste.

    The cross seems like a good idea, but you might want to move the horizontal Double Box a bit more down.

    I think that this is more an aesthetic map.

    This might be moved to aesthetics, my Shooting range was moved to Casual because the moderators don't see that the map helps your accuracy. Anyway, I agree with the people above me, it's a bit too open. Try adding in some more creative structures and if you can't think of any, design your own! Be creative! While your adding in the structures, make sure you keep the map balanced weapon wise. Overall a 3/5, this is an average map that could use some improvement.

    I think it need more structures i get wat ur going at but its alittle to open for infection the zombies would have to be a little over norm. speed and full health... but nice job on the idea... the back alley and all that looks good... but im not loving armory just gives the zombie no chance... but other than that it seems like a nice map good job w/ the b/a its really nice... n nice job w/ all the secrets... i would dl but i dont dl infection... sorry but i bet this is fun

    I see where you're coming from, although in the armory their are only 4 weapons with little ammo the rest of the weapons are scattered throughout the map.
