I checked out the first post of this, but it didn't really entice me. This version, however, seems so much better, and well worth the download. I'll get back to you after a forgethrough.
Have made yet more small changes and so the link for v2 has changed (sorry for the confusion) but I felt that objectives needed to be included on this map. It is now set up for one flag, one bomb and territories. Please have a go and tell me what you think. This is a final build of v2 now so please download it if you liked v1/first v2, objective games can be very interesting on this map. Thanks for the comments, all feedback is appreciated.

Map Name Temple Nights Author: PegasiDelta Reviewed By: Th Assa1n Enjoyment: 7/10 Description This map went over my expectations in enjoyment. Great place to have small but fun objective games and Team Doubles. With the two bases and balanced weaponry, this map made a unique challenge for CTF. Balance: 8/10 Description Weapons were nicely balanced on both sides. No power weapons that I saw. The sniper was made a challenge in this close quarters map. Was really glad to see no rocket launchers. Durability: 7/10 Description The only possible way to break out of this map was to use the oracle. No grenade jumps/butterfly/ rocket launcher jump could penetrate this map. Aesthetics: 7/10 Description There was nothing wrong with the bases or waterfall. They were all nicely interlocked and placed symmetrically. Waterfall wasn’t the best one I have ever seen but it was still good Originality: 6/10 Description This map was another base and base map. Although very unique, the two bases with the Aztec/temple theme was not very original. Overall score (Average of the above): 7/10 Overall, this map was fun to play on. I liked how he perfected a close quarters objective maps. Everything looked and felt great so I could not see anywhere to improve on. Great job with this map PegasiDelta! I hope to see many more from you in the future.
sweet, most base maps are spread out, but the close in feelings give me the tinglies (in a good way) lol
Thanks for the review, the objective aspect was really only thought of after Draw the Line suggested I add another base. Whilst it did turn this into yet another base vs base map, I think it was a good choice overall and enabled me to really try out doing one sided objective games. It took a while to get it right, kept starting games and seeing bomb/flag spawns/plants outside the wall but managed to get it in the end (still not quite sure how it all works though, any advice would help- I set up the attacker/defender settings correctly but the spawns/drops already placed on the map kept interfering even after I deleted them). This review is more than I was hoping for and I appreciate the comments, but I'm going to take on board what you have said and try and make my next map a little more interesting and original.
wow you used the top of the boxes instead of the bottom and it adds soo much to the visual appeal, it looks sweet, kinda like a line of silver soldiers all over the wall nice map
Yeh, using the top of the boxes was actually inspired by the map Cyclopean by NeverlessWonder, a truly great map which fully deserves its featured status. I saw the large double box curved wall and thought: I want one.
aesthetically brilliant, an awesome amount of interlocking, and the large wall made of boxes looks fantastic with the lighting.
