    Submission Thread

    This thread is for Template Contest map submissions.

    • All entries must be submitted by 29th of August.
    • Your map can have a Maximum of 3 pictures
    • The map must have a Minimum of 1 picture
    • You must have a download link in the reply
    • You can not reserve spots.
    • Your map must have a download link
    • If you have any questions ask them here
    • If you'd like to discuss your map with others please do so here.

    Here's my submission: The Artificial

    Compatible with both Multi Flag and One Flag, as well as Slayer but plays the best on Multi Flag. Symmetry Options have been used for the Splaser/Banshee, as well as the Missle Pods/Rockets.

    Also, a quick little note: The maps theme is set in the ruins of a building-like structure, which explains why some things look crooked. I tried my best to give off the feeling that you're playing in a destroyed building area whilst having things be as smooth as possible.

    Thunderstruck

    this is my map that i have created for the contest. it is called thunderstruck. I took an idea of an open map that incorporates vehicles as well as infantry. (it would've been just infantry but there is a banshee arggg!) anyway most of my inspiration came from halo 2s own containment. i spiced it up and gave my map a lil theme by adding the colored towers and the center that i jokingly call An old force field generator. over all the map plays good with 8v8 to 5v5. I tested it out multiple times (even pulled some hair out with the spawns...which are fixed now!) I hope you enjoy it even if it doesn't win.

    Borderland

    This is my map for the template contest. It is called Borderland.
    it is an asymmetrical map. Supports Team Slayer, One Flag, and One Bomb. 6-16 players.

    My goal was to create a map that made good use of the sand hills, while the middle of the map stayed kind of open.
    So to travel safety, without a vehicle, stick to the sand dunes to go from base to base.

    I wanted the gameplay to pressure the defense to hold their base. The defenders have a fortified base with shield doors in the front and in the back,with the sides of the base
    open. They also have a nice sniper/laser perch merged up into the sand dunes. I wanted a "storm the base" kind of feel for the attackers, giving them access good amount of vehicles.


    The weapon/vehicle layout is different for symmetrical and asymmetrical gametypes.

    For Team Slayer each team has on their side the following items: ( only listing important ones )

    (1) Warthog
    (2) Mongoose

    (1) Sniper Rifle

    The middle of the map then has:

    (2) Ghosts ( opposite each other )
    (1) Active Camo
    (1) Laser
    (1) Turret

    For One Bomb and One Flag:

    Defenders:

    (1) Chopper
    (1) Warthog
    (1) Mongoose

    (1) Trip Mine ( in place of rockets )
    (1) Laser ( in place of sniper rifle


    Attackers:

    (2) Warthogs
    (1) Chopper
    (3) Mongoose
    (1) Sniper
    (1) Rocket

    The middle of the map then has:

    (1) Ghost
    (1) Banshee
    (1) Turret
    (1) Active Camo

    Seventeen is made by MetaWaddleDee and A RedBull Can. This map is Compatible with every game, but recommended for asymmetric Flag and Assault games. It features the Banshee for Asymmetric games and The Splaser for Symmetrical games.

    EDIT:I updated the map and the link with a new version where I moved the flag spawn points and capture points around to make multi-flag more balanced.
