Update: I am currently working on Close Quarters II which will have a whole load of those advanced forging techniques added into it... so be patient and have fun... You spawn, Shotgun in hand knowing that all hell will break loose. You put on your mic and ask your team what the hell is going on. They answer saying that your playing Team Rush on Close Quarters... "Step Quick, Shoot Fast, and Aim with Precision, this is Rush." This map consists of randomly placed Double Boxes and Barriers to give the map a sense or randomness. You spawn with a Shotgun that does 200% Damage and you run at 125% Speed. You take 150% Damage and you have no shields, thus you have little Defense but lots of Offense. As you run through the map you'll come across Custom Power Ups or as in Close Quarters we call them "Insta-kills" or "Instant Kills", you gain the power to kill in one shot for 5 seconds, and the Insta-Kills spawn every 2 minutes and they come in first after 2 minutes of being in the game. The game goes for 10 Minutes per Round, or until one team reaches 50 points. There are 3 Rounds per game. Here are some screen shots of the map... It looks like the mona lisa of halo. Even if the gameplay is amazing i dont think this will grab the attention of many people. I suggest you add some more aesthetics seeing as you probably have about $600/700 left.
well the map seems pretty easy tomake and also looks breakable with the speed boost. i suggest building up the wall and geomerge some boxes to give a sense on hieght.
I like CQB like this. Though, its very, very, veeeeeerrrrryyy easy to get out. And it looks a little boring. Add some stuff to it. Its okay though, 7.5/10
I don't want to sound rude, but this map lacks, everything.. lol sorry, kinda a lazy map, just threw stuff down and made a gametype for it. It's is soooo easy to escape, on simple grenade bounce or jumping from the barriers onto the boxes, then over and out.. Try geomerging, interlocking, more asthetics and definitly more planning.. sorry to be rude if i offended you in any possible way. 2/5
I'm sorry to say that this map is not very good. It sounds like you spent more time setting up the gametype than forging the map. It looks like you placed some boxes adn barriers and called it a map. Spend more time on your maps and take pride in what you forge. If you spend more time on a map and put more effort into it, you'll get a lot more downloads. By the way, this should probably be in the Mini Games or Casual Maps Forum.
