hey, i have a question thats been pondering me. what does symmetrical and asymmetrical mean in the forge menu. if someone could tell me i would greatly appreciate it.
First, welcome to ForgeHub. Second, to answer your question, the symetry option refers to what type of games the object in question will appear in. In Symetrical gametypes, both teams/all teams/players are trying for the same goal. Be it killing, capturing a flag, arming a bomb, or something else, in symetrical gameplay, your goal is the same as everyone else's. In Asymetrical gametypes, the goal for players differs depending on what you're playing. Examples are Juggernaut, One Flag, and Infection matches. For Juggernaut, if you're the Juggernaut, it's your goal to kill everyone else and not be killed. If you're not, your goal is to kill the Juggernaut. For One Flag, if you're defending, your goal is to stop the other team from scoring, while if you're attacking, it's your job to score. In Infection, if you're infected, it's your goal to infect as many others as you can, while if you're not, it's your job to kill the infected one and stay alive as long as possible. For more information (and a lot of discussion), see this thread: Taking Advantage of Symetry Options
