Sunken Temple is symmetrical map made for competitive gameplay. Made to be an ancient sunken forerunner temple. Sniper and rockets are on drop spawns. Best played with MLG Team Slayer and MLG CTF. Is this supposed to be loosely based on the WoW instance Sunken Temple? Looks very similar. Either way its got a good look to it, now I just need to find out how it plays before I can pass final judgement.
I have play tested this map, it is fun for 4s and definitely flag works best. Some things I dont like is how there are large areas where you can fall into the water. Some of which are sort of hard to notice at first. I like the idea of how you can traverse the map, and there are several implemented jumps that work well to get from place the place. The OS spawn area is too deep I think, it turns into a 2 way green room/hall from Lockout. Like you could easily get trapped/naded down there with no way out, because the powerup spawn operates like Sidewinder from Halo 1. I like the peek window from Flag spawn to flag spawn at each base. Certainly could be a game stopper if one team manages to perch back with snipe at their spawn. I give this map a 4/5 for originality, but it mildly lacks in some small areas. Wow man I really appreciate the feedback definitely will use this to help with future versions of the map.
Looks interesting. I think more pictures are needed to see the true awesomeness of this map. Not sure about the tunnel where the power-up is. It looks too risky to go there. You'll get trapped like Anorexic Leader said.
I have visited it, it is a really awesome map. The aestethic is great and you have put many nice gameplay ideas. The only thing I would betteer is adding a sniper Riffle instead of the useless armor power-up. Great job btw.
