    My first post\topic\map on this website. My and my friend were working on a map and once we got to one building done we parted and worked on our own seperate versions of the map. This is my version of the map. Best played with 3-12 players (using the gametype).

    Story:
    Once a long time ago the human UNSC forces started working on a suburban city that would be heavily guarded and safe. The convenant caught this information and immediatly stormed the construction site. UNSC could not hold them back and instantly fled. Years later the suburban city was rediscovered and was finished.

    Weapons in map:
    2 ARs
    2 BRs
    2 SMGs
    2 Magnums
    1 Sniper

    There arn't that much weapons because people usaully don't last too long with my Modern gametypes.

    Extra Information:

    Pallets have been put in the buildings for realism (able to destroy parts of the buildings).

    I messed up and made one of the walls of the buildings respawn in 45 seconds at the beginning of the map.

    I highly suggest people to try out the map with one of the gametypes. This map can be really fun.

    More information is I might release my friends version because my friends version is highly unique. It has something no one (I think) has done before.

    Looking at the pictures this map does not seem out of the ordinary at all, atleast put some time into your maps if your going to be showing it to everyone, interlock and get a new idea, houses have been done way too much.

    sorry for the criticism, look at is as constructive criticism please :p

    5 warthogs on a Foundry competitive map? Not good...

    Anyway, the map looks kinda bland and uninspired, and anyone in the sniper tower would probably dominate everything since it's the only tall structure on the map.

    Also, parking lots and realistic stuff is generally not the best for competitive maps, where the main focus is gameplay.

    I agree with every word you say. The thing about the sniper tower is you don't get a good view of the Battle Field (I ment to do that) and the sniper only has one extra clip. Also the realistic gametype actually makes the map fun (as long as you have three people or more). Someone can't completely criticize a map untill someones played it right? I suggest for people to give it a try with the gametype if they have three people or over, it can be quite fun.

    Also about the complaints with the parking lot Warthogs. I tried those too. If someone starts driving a hog around for me it was fun to take it down. It might not be the same for others though. The damage is also made realistic on purpose so that is easier to kill people in hogs.

    Could you put what weapons are on the map? Also, in your story it says that the construction site was finished. If that's so, why is the brief description of the map "an abandoned under construction city"?

    I rate your map 2/5. :)

    Actually, now that you embedded the pics, I see three buildings (didn't see the others before cause I didn't click on all the links). So I guess I take back what I said about the sniper tower.

    However, the whole idea of a city has been done to death and yours doesn't really stand out from the rest. Needs to show some more creativity (and clean up the sloppiness a bit).

    Also, I don't know why the mancannon is there. Why not just spawn people inside the city? It would probably prevent people from camping outside...

    Well in all honesty there is a lot of empty space. And also interlocking is needed same with neatness. And also please dont have so many vehicles.

    2/5 is certainly a start. I don't expect too much but I'm not one of those people to start yelling at people for saying something bad about one of my maps. Also you made a good point. I said under construction when it wasn't.

    If I was you I would post a few more pics of the inside of the houses and the main foreground. A couple of good pics and it could swad people to download more often. By the way, welcome to the forgehub forums. good luck.
    edit: And by the way please interlock. it makes the map look so much nicer.

    This map could use some more work. Maybe play testing would help you come up with some ideas. If you needs testers just PM me and invite me to the game if i am online my GT is

    I just got an idea from my friend of how to make air strikes. I will continue my work on this map and come up with a V2 eventually once the map is perfect.

    interlocking for the street and the houses would go a long way into helping this map be playable fun!

    Sounds like an awesome idea if you can implement it right, I look forward to seeing it. Other than that, this looks like a cliche first posted map... not really anything terribly wrong with it, just a lot of things that could be perfected. And like other people have said, the 5 warthogs really destroy the map. 2 is usually the max.
