SUBMISSION "UNSC complexes such as these are an obvious target for Covenant invaders." (Big Team gamemodes including Slayer, CTF, KOTH, and Dominion.) I wanted to create a map on Erosion where the structures I make compliment the natural hills, tunnels, and overall terrain of the map. The large complex already built outdoors at the edge of the map is rarely used, so I also wanted to fix that into the map as well. This is a large map that was designed for Dominion, but will play equally as well in other gamemodes. It contains three main buildings and each one is a Dominion base. The weapons and vehicles for both Dominion and non-Dominion modes are as follows: Weapons: Initial Drops 2 Sniper Rifles (180 seconds) 1 Rocket Launcher (180 seconds) 2 Needlers (150 seconds) Random Drops 2 Concussion Rifles 3 Plasma Grenades (x3) 2 Speed Boosts Vehicles: Non-Dominion Vehicles 2 Ghosts (150 seconds) 1 Ghost (180 seconds) 2 Rocket Warthogs (180 seconds) 4 Mongooses (30 seconds) [also in Dominion] Dominion Vehicles Base “A” Dominion 1 Rocket Warthog 1 Ghost Base “B” Dominion 1 Ghost 1 Mantis Base “C” Dominion 1 Rocket Warthog 1 Ghost (ALL Dominion vehicles are at 180 second respawn) Red Team spawn at the bottom of the picture near the Warthog. The red spawn is to the bottom left now, and their main building is the complex built into erosion, with interior changes. The tunnel to the right is a main passage from the two spawns. If you prefer not to go that route, you can go on top of the above complex or the alley behind the center building. Also next to the Warthog, the Blue Team spawn is at the bottom of the pic. The large structure is their main base, and a Dominion base. The tops of building have soft kill zones but the tops of the pipes do not. They can become great sniping positions. Base "C" for Dominion and also the building near the Blue Team spawn. Above is "B" in Dominion which now holds a Mantis for this gamemode. There are 2 front and 2 back entrances to the complex. Once you enter from the front (the last pic), you can see the back entrances. Through those doors is the "alley" i mentioned earlier. It's a narrow path to navigate the center of the map. There aren't shield doors for "A" in dominion. The location and placement of turrets make up for that. So..... There's my attempt at a big team map, and I would really appreciate any comments (positive or negative) to improve my forging.
I'm very interested to see how the natural hills of erosion play on this map. I'll give this a DL once I can.
