    Submersed

    by Rest in Pieces

No gametype specific; just MLG v2 settings (Team slayer or FFA but only 1v1 and 2v2)

I haven't posted on forge hub in a while, but i thought i'd come back to it

Description: Submersed is a 1v1 multi floored map that i forged in halo 3, but what i made on the halo 3 map i did not agree with, so i gave it another shot and i feel better about this one. Also, this is not my original design. The basic design was sketched in white and gray by Wheezymoney probably over two years ago and i decided to dig it up and forge it (Yes, i did ask him a while ago, though he never responded). Considering the design was pretty basic, i had to improvise with cover and anything else in addition

Anyways, there is a high point to the map that seems dominant, but there are two ways to flank them (Set of teleporters and a jump up), an overshield to either overpower them or force them off, and there's a low ceiling to bounce nades easily if ever convenient. It's also not a difficult map to play on because i still lost games i played on it

    Weapon Set:

    DMR x 3
    NR x 2
Overshield x 1 (90 sec, not placed at start)
Plasma Pistol x 1 (90 sec dropped) to counter the OS
    Sniper Rifle x 2 (88 sec dropped; 0 clip)

    Another View: tunnel contains OS

Please enjoy and give me feedback

Looks very good, Ill que the dl and play later to give you better feedback. Btw its always nice to see other people who enjoy RED.

Ok so my friend and I just ran a game and we both agree that its quite balanced even with the high point. the overshield definitely helps! The only thing that I would change is maybe add a grenade near the respawn point under the ledge to the right as you are coming up from the overshield tunnel. Terrific map.

    as does BB

Thanks for the feedback, & for playing it. Im not sure i know what youre referring to about where to put that grenade. do you mean by the spawn point under the bridge, or by the 3x3 block at the bottom right of the 1st SS?

btw, did the snipers work well?

Im pretty sure its by the 3x3 block at the bottom right of the 1st ss. Its the dropoff as soon as you turn right out of the os tunnel. I can't remember the specific block used, sorry. Its right before you reach the outer walkway. Hopefully that makes sense...

As for the snipes, I tend to stay away from using them but thats just my playing style. They seemed to be fine from the amount we used them. I felt that the dmr had close to perfect range for this map so I used it primarily along with hoarding the os haha.

Let me know if you ever need someone to test maps for you, I'd love to help on any future works.
