    Subconscious

    Creater: Mattimator

    Map: Sandbox

    Difficulty: Moderate

    Gametype: Gametype: RACETRACKS

    Description: Subconscious is a smooth, fun track, also available for battletrack gametypes. A track made in the way i never intended to make, realising 3/4 of the way through creating this map, i wanted to make it this way before i bought the mythic map pack. After, realising what happened, i decided to call it ... 'Subconscious'.

    This map features:
    -99.9% cheatproof
    -Colour: Red, Blue and a little purple
    -Lighting: Light and Dark
    -Smooth bank turns
    -Ledge (safety)
    -Skillful drifting area towards the end!

    What inspired your creation?
    I wanted to make a smooth track, suitable for tournaments and Battletrack gametypes. I had some ideas but turned out i didn't use, so i will use them for my next track.

    How long did it take to create?
    In the space of 4 days, I'd say i spent between 15 - 20 hours.

    What aspect took the longest to get right?
    The bank turn towards the end, i was struggling on how sharp i should make the last turn,m considering how much money i had left (not a lot). As it turns out, it gives a very nice drift turn and diffrentiates the bigginers and pro racers.

    I can't play the map, but Im happy to see a new racetrack out there that looks very smooth and beautiful! The main thing that caught my attention was the lenght of the track, it has great balance of hills and banks. If I had Internet and was able to play this, I would tell you what you could improve and impliment in you next track. The one thing I can do now is rate this 5/5 and claim the seat for first post...

    nice track but ummm, i can cheat on it, in the third last pic, where the track starts, goes around a corner and goes up over a later section of track, you can drive off and skip about 1/3rd of the track. good for battletracks, but terrible for racetracks.
    other than that, it looks really good.

    er, not really sure where ur coming from, make sure u play on it first because the picture's angle can be misleading.

    As Matt said, you should always play a map before commenting, especially if you are going to include "terrible" in your post. The hill that overlaps a later part of the track is bordered. You can actually see that in the picture. Look again.

    The pics for this track are amazing. It has a beautiful overview. The gameplay did not disappoint, either. When I did my first lap, I noticed a few bumps that hinder your ability to turn, but got the hang of it after that. I like the design of this track. You have some good drifting turns, and although they slow you down a bit, you go down a hill right afterward, so you get all your speed back. It's great for ffa racing, as keeping your speed is essential, which really separates the boys from the men. Aside from the little bumps, the only other problem is the checkpoint. You can walk through the outside of it. This is simply solved by turning the outer teleporters around. The bottom of Sender/Two-Way nodes are more sensitive than the top, so it is always a good idea for the bottoms to be on the outer edges. There's not much else to talk about. It's a great map, and I can't wait to see your future tracks.
