I have created a Foundation-based map in Forge. I have created crates that players can move in front of the door to stop the Zombies from coming in, just like in Halo 2. After the players move the crates, they disappear and respawn back in their Forge position. How would I stop objects from disappearing? I have tried setting the respawn rate to never, but the objects still disappear, they just do not respawn back at their Forge position. Thank you!
Ya, I'm having the same probleme. But if I remeber well, wirespools don't disappear. So a player can roll one to the doorway, partly blocking it.
Well, then I don't know what to do. Have you tried testing out of Forge? Sometimes, Forge likes to reset stuff.
That's the way respawning works. Everything will eventually disappear and respawn back at it's original spot no matter what you do.
Wirespools actually do disappear. I have a map that's supposed to be a wirespool factory, and I have it setup to where a wirespool falls from the ceiling onto the conveyor belt every 10 seconds. It's only one wirespool, but it disappears and respawns again in the air every 10 seconds. Trucks in foundry don't disappear, I know that for sure.
If only we had a numerical value, instead of "eventually." Bungie really makes us figure all this stuff out on our own. Very time-consuming. --dc
If it never respawns that means it will probably never disappear. And he didn't say to set it to 180, he said to set it to No. Or Never or somethign like that.
ya but its not the respawning thats the probleme. If im not mistaking almost all objects after being away from there ''original'' position will disapear ( i guess for an unclogged map). So if u put the respawn to none, it will still disappear after 30 secs, just not come back i think. But im not sure, ill guess ill have to do some test tommorow
