    The goemorphing on the map is major eye candy (like the walls in the back room) and theres a lot of new things in it like the grav lift.
    the gameplay was fun even tho there was some spawn raping
    cant wait till ur new map comes out :D

    Stockade Review


    Note: This review will be done on a non-bias bases, games were played with several differnt sets of players, using there's and mine input

    Aesthetics: Stockade is a beautiful piece of work. The Geo-merging, interlocking and look are all flawless. The map is crafted to perfection. Some of the things I'm not to fond of are the crates,barrels and pallets packed into fence walls, and fence boxes. I've never been a huge fan of it unless done properly and not randomly. You guys did a excellent job making unique structures and I'm greatly impressed by the sniper tower on the attackers side, it looks very impressive.

    Mechanics: A side from the great aesthetics, the mechanics were a tiny bit lacking. The Sniper tower's lift would break occasionally when a frag grenade would hit it, I don't know if this was done of purpose or not but if it was I don't see a point. It allows people to hide up there and camp. If you forgot to fix it or never encountered the problem in testing, its a simple fix. Next was your spawns, one flag you had great spawns aside from the occasional spawn on top of a structure or in a fire fight they worked great. Your slayer spawns were a bit off, but from reading your responses to other comments, your goal was for flag witch is fine but some people like to play slayer on maps like this as-well.

    Forge Scale: This is the section in witch you excelled with greatly. You three did an excellent with job with taking advanced forging techniques and expanding them. The zip line was great, aside from the occasional screw up on it, it played great. The zip line added a great touch and possibly started a new revolution in forge. All your merging was precise, you had some incredibly low merges witch impressed me.

    Game Play: For game play I was a tad disappointed. The map felt too open at times and very linear. It felt as though there was only two ways to move; forewords and backwards. I didn't like being on the defending team as much as I did the attackers. The attackers had the awesome sniper tower and it was fun to snipe from. The attackers side of the map played a lot better than the defenders. The attackers when ever I spawned I felt as I had to run foreword, and when I did I was quickly killed. Flag played fine but slayer lacked as I stated earlier. Slayer could have been topped up a bit.

    Unique: Your map was very unique, it had some mind blowing structures on it; Sniper tower, bunker, middle thing. They all gave me a great feeling while playing it, as I ran around I got was consistently finding my self staring at the structures with amazement. You had lots of things never to be done in forge yet on this map, and you've raised the bar for future maps as unique maps go.

    Durability: Well, The map had a tiny bit of problems here. I myself am not found of people who break maps. I hate when people break maps, the map's author obviously put a wall up for a reason, your suppose to stay in map, but a problem with Halo 3 players is that they don't care about that, if they can cheat they will and that means breaking the map. People would do the same thing in every party I played in, grab the grav-lift and the sniper and get on the center structure and control the map.

    Overall Score: Your map has landed a 8.5/10 in my review. The map was a master piece as far as quality goes. You had magnificent structures on it and kept it all clean at the same time. However for future projects from your team, try not to focus on geomerging so much and rather try to get a feel for things and think it out how it will play. What I'm saying is don't try to geomerge for the sake of geomerging. There was a lot of places and items in this map that were randomly and unnecessary that could have been used to improve game play. You guys have a remarkable talent at forging and if you just thought out the maps a wee bit more I think I'd bee seeing you all with the maroon color in no time. Thanks - Bl00D F1R3

    this map is amazing with all its geomerging but the spawns are really messed up ill give it a 9 out of 10

    This is one of my favorite maps, pro-geomerging/interlocking, love the layout and the gameplay, 10/5!
