I put together some code for laying out a clear post that will abide by the Map Posting Rules of the site. What you need to do: Use the appropriate code depending on how many pictures you would like. Copy the code from the code box into your new map topic. Replace everything in CAPITALS AND UNDERSCORES with the information required (Tip: Double click on the text with underscores to quickly edit it while creating your post). This is a little ironic... Anyways, how do you upload a map from xbox and actually get it on your computer?
Upload it to your file share on Reach, then you can go to the corresponding page on Bungie.net and copy the link from there.
I don't see why you wouldn't have linked your profile already, but it's not necessary. Just search your gamertag and you'll find your file share files on the same page.
It's HTML. Just copy and paste when making a thread, then replace the appropriate text with your own links and descriptions.
If it is a YouTube video, simply copy the video's URL into the thread and it will be embedded. If it is a bungie video, look in the video's URL and copy the strand of numbers. Then just copy the numbers into the thread and put it like this: [?bungievid]NUMBERS GO HERE[?/bungievid] Just remove the question marks and you'll be good to go.

This template is usefull but I have a few questions, I am using an iPod to do everything Internet and so I cannot save images and place them into the URL spaces or into photobucket, so how do I get a URL from my pictures (on bungie) into the URL spaces in the form? Can I just use a URL from the bungie page with the picture?
I'm on a iPod as well and while it is much harder I've figured I can use btb code with the link to the pic Example That will put the pic in but you will not be able to get pictures there for a while because of the blackout... Im not sure but I don't think they will punish you for no pictures right now I hope this helped
This thread is somewhat old, but I have to say thanks. I had no idea how to post a map before I saw this, and I was always confused by how you put a thumbnail image. I'll probably post a map tomorrow.
