Stalemate

    First of all this is the first map i've posted here at Forgehub.
    It is a competitive map based on MLG style but for more average gamers (basically not Pros).

    Stalemate

    Stalemate is a symetrical map designed and tested to suit average gamers who like to feel pro. It has a modified weapon set which has been tested thourally by me and RaZoR RIOT. It's compattable with Team Slayer and CTF. It doesn't work for any free for all gametypes because the spawns have been set up for team games. The map works best for team of 4.

    There are the usual weapons like the rocket launcher, shotty and sniper. The map has a few pieces of equipment that originally i thought were a big NO, but they really help the gameplay. They are things like a grav lift and radar jammer.

    There are two sniper towers, one for each team. The sniper tower is also the flag spawn.

    The shotgun and the rockets are farely close but it's extremely difficult to grab both because the rockets are in an open area.

    There are only 4 Plasma grenades on the map because they seemed to be "power weapons" while we were testing.

    Originally had Rockets in these tunnels but we replaced them with maulers because the rockets were a hugely dominating weapon.

    Before you say, there isn't much Interlocking and it's not perfect.

    Interlocking would make the map look better aesthetically and would mean more people are inclined to download, I know its a pain to do and takes too long but forge maps are very advanced at the moment and it is worth putting the effort in IMO

    nice idea, it looks well setup and great to play on, but could use some interlocking

    it does have interlocking and merging in it

    on the area with the mancannon the roof of the building looks a little bumpy and you might want to fix that if you make a v2. if it is smooth then i guess its just the picture that makes it look that way but overall good job. did you consider interlocking some of the bases?

    maybe more interlocking (I know there is some) and turn the bridges over so they're smother. Looks pretty fun though

    Looks good for a first attempt, but everyone is right, interlocking would make it ten times better. Also, add scenery, a few dumpsters, barrels, anything, it makes the map seem less open, unless you were going for open, then, great job! I have yet to post my first map as well.

    yea interlocking does help you get downloads so If you want a lot thayts what i'd do. otherwise The idea of this map is nice but it jsut need some neatness to it.
