You can just call it Spranklz' Lobby. What it is This lobby will be aimed toward enjoying forged 4v4 maps, rather than testing them. In fact, there will be no feedback session. We will play each map once with one gametype, and then move on to the next. However, I will be more than happy to play one map twice, or two maps once each if it really improves the experience! We will rotate through and allow each player to submit a map and gametype. When all players in the lobby have had a chance, we will go through again and again, until the lobby is over. With feedback comes time demand, so my goal is to host a lobby that favors playtests over feedback to maximize the number of playtests we do. However, feel free to discuss a map during or after the game. Also feel free to ask the lobby for feedback, but do not expect them to do so. If you are looking to improve your map, I suggest that you save the replays after the lobby is over and review the experience yourself. My original idea for the lobby was for players to be able to showcase the maps that they have perfected that have not made it into matchmaking yet, but I want to extend it to all maps at any stage in development that are somewhat ready to be enjoyed. Also, feel free to bring a minigame, although it is not highly encouraged. Minigames should also take no longer than about 12 minutes (more time for overtime is okay). In this lobby, I want all non-hosts to feel like they are copilots rather than participants. Because this lobby is about having fun, we will try to cater to the desires of the majority, which means we may do something a little different if everyone wants to. This includes replaying a map, adding a map into the queue outside of anyone's normal submission, moving host if host leaves, etc. We will not, however, vote to skip any map. Teams will be rebalanced as necessary. If we have 7, we will balance a 3v4. If we have even less, we may move on to smaller maps or more minigames. We will go until everyone leaves. If I have to leave before others do, I will pass on host to someone else, and they can continue with the lobby with the original spirit in mind. Similarly, if I am unable to attend or am more than 15-30 minutes late, I strongly encourage you to still organize and run the lobby without me. Also, for those of you who are unfamiliar, I don't have a mic. I will send messages through party chat (probably more than you'd like ), but the push notifications do not always appear, so please remember to check party chat on occasion. Also, like I said about being my copilots, please feel welcome to help me communicate efficiently however and whenever you feel is appropriate. I have lots of untested, crappy maps for you guys to play This could turn into a great lobby for those forgers who have little knowledge about 'good maps' but still love to forge, get to play their creations and have some casual fun.
Hey! I have a 4v4 called Composer V.2. Because of the layout and spawns of the map, only Strongholds and slayer are available at the moment. I intend to create CTF and Ball spawns in the near future.
