JonnyOThan is answering questions on the spawning engine for Reach on the Forge World forum at b.net. Some of the things he is saying are confirming what I wrote in my last blog entry at http://www.forgehub.com/forum/blogs/mrgreenwithagun/2789-reach-respawn-zone-tutorial.html While I was trying to stay true to his article, I was trying to word it in a way that would make more sense to someone trying to apply what was being said. I even learned that the behavior was what I described, but the way it was implemented was contrary to what I wrote. Yes, the respawn zones are quite simple, not complicated creatures that do mystical things as some have claimed.
