Hello team. It's been a while since I've been on here, but I wanted to share the updates to my map and invite you and your friends to jump back in and see what you think. My map used to be called ooSnip3r Base, (I don't know why) but I've recently decided that I'm going with Spartan 003 as the official name. I've done lots of changes to it and I'm always tweaking little things here and there as I test play it (mostly solo with a few random players joining). Biggest changes are to the environment and the feel of the space. Trying to create more atmosphere and feel to the space. Vehicle and weapon placements remain the same if you've been on it recently. There are some hidden items through the map, and also lots of destructible, moveable and explosive items to have fun with. I haven't learned how to script yet, but It's coming. The 3 gametypes supported are slayer, CTF and strongholds. I'd have to say that CTF is probably the main focus on this map but slayer is super fun too with lots of laughs. Strongholds is my favourite game type even though I'm not very good at it and I think my placements of the terminals are fun with them being a bit multi-dimensional without making them too hard to capture or defend. The one thing I'm working on the most at the moment is really dialing in the spawns. There's not much tutorial content about spawn placements so I've just been trial and error with them. They are getting much better and are less predictable now. I think the starting spawns are clever and fairly placed to get to all the good stuff easily. I'd really love to tweak the map enough to have an opportunity to submit it for play in social or arena playlists. Not sure if it's possible anymore, but would be cool. map updates are to the right on your map post, in the black box, you dont even need to scroll down, how'd you miss that?
