Space Ship

Hmmm... where can I start

1. You posted as an aesthetic map, but it doesn't have much aesthetic quality.
If you look back, does it really have the shape of a ship? No, sorry.

2. I won't moan because you didn't interlock much, but I have to suggest it. Almost all aesthetic maps these days use interlocking just because it improves the looks. And aesthetic means pleasing to the eyes.

3. Don't post your map until you are done with it. People like to see the download link and compatible gametypes. If you don't have that there isn't much point to post it. If you want to show what you have so far, make a blog or go to the forge discussion forum.

 

Ya, it's no problem. A mod might lock this but I think you'll be good.

 

well if you look under the best of forge thread on the front page and go to best aesthetic map, it will give you a link to the previous winner that just so happened to be a ship on foundry. a pelican more specifically.
and here is a picture of the pelican now.

Umm. This is definitely not an aesthetic. M.Jelleh is right. Almost EVERY single aesthetic map has interlocking. I wouldn't ever download this because it doesn't even look, and probably isn't, completed. You should look at other aesthetic maps and see what they look like.

EDIT: M.Jelleh, I didn't even care about looking for the link at all. Now that you pointed this out though, this really needs to be locked already.

EDIT 2: Triple08 are you serious? This has no aesthetics what so ever and needs to be locked because the download link is missing. This most likely isn't even finished, and even if it were, it would need TONS of improvement.

Rating this map a 4/5 is like rating miley cirus a 10/10, she sucks.

Ths is awesome. I really like the idea of a ship. Maybe some scenery would be cool, but still its a really good map. 4/5 good job.

 

this isn't a ship - it is just a big floating room.

I do like the ventral ramp though.

Actually, I have seen lots of ships on Foundry, like Val's Millenium Falcon and his Pillar of Autumn, Chood1994's Arwing, and xXAbstainXx's Pelican (shown above) and his Spirit dropship. I think you could improve this by making the ship sleeker. Right now, it looks like a floating box. Sorry.

 

Wow.. I know your FH rank doesn't show how good of a forger you are, but it does show how much you look around posts, and then review them. So I'd think you would know that this is not a very decent post compared to alot of others. If I were you i'd ask a Mod to move this into a Forge Discussion, so you can get some tips on improving this, and maybe even making a gametype out of it. With some work though I think it could be fun... so keep on forging
