Alright so this thread is pretty self-explanatory.
Just give a song(s) or band(s) you think should be in Guitar Hero or Rockband.

For me I'd like to see a "Bite to Break Skin" by Senses Fail.
A previous song by SF was on I think GH3 and everyone hated it but this song is seriously good.
It fits the new criteria for a GH/RB game.

It has clear singable vocals no growling or screaming.
Has probably my favorite intro of any song.
    Has basic drums.

YouTube - Senses Fail - Bite To Break Skin
heres a vid, I just love the opening guitar...

Had to bust out my list for this.

I would have to say Chaney Can't Quite Riff Like Helmet's Page Hamilton by Evergreen Terrace.

YouTube - Evergreen Terrace - Chaney can't quite riff like Helmet's...

Pretty easy drums, fun guitars, interesting bass, a good variety of vocals (the screams are easy and the singing is easy.) Oh, and there's a guitar solo.

Next is Wolves by Chasing Victory.

    YouTube - Chasing Victory

Drums are simple, Guitars are interesting and are fun to play, there's also some interesting Bass lines. Plus the vocals have a lot of variety, including an easy couple screams at the end.

Next is Just Another Marionette by Emarosa.

YouTube - Emarosa - Just Another Marionette (High Audio Quality)

The guitars are somewhat difficult considering their flow, same goes with the bass and drums. However, the most difficult I believe would be the vocals. Being able to sing like that just seems like it would be ridiculously difficult.

Next is A Fault Line. A Fault of Mine. by Underoath.

YouTube - UNDEROATH - A Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine

Compared to Desperate Times, Desperate Measures (the other Underoath song on Rock Band) this one has a lot more singing and is a lot more friendly and melodic compared to DT,DM.

And finally, Get to the Choppa' by Austrian Death Machine.

YouTube - Austrian Death Machine "Get To The Choppa"

There's a guitar solo. It's a funny song. It'll just be fun to play with people.

That is the best idea EVER!

If it was going to come out in five years, I'd preorder it now!

Here are the songs I think that should be in Rock Band.
I tried to not add any songs that I think they should add that is already in a GH game.

Paradise City by Guns N Roses
Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N Roses
In the End by Linkin Park
    Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage
Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers
All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix
    Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth
Tears Don't Fall by Bullet for my Valentine
    Adam's Song by Blink 182
What's My Age Again? by Blink 182
    Cowboys From Hell by Pantera
The Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin
    Machinehead by Bush
18 and Life by Skid Row
The Bleeding by Five Finger Death Punch
    Medicate by Flaw
    Redemption by Shadows Fall
    Shout 2000 by Disturbed
    Remember by Disturbed
Touch, Peel and Stand by Days of the New
    The Last Chance by Soil
Funeral Bell by Black Label Society
    You by Candelbox
    Drown Together by Sentenced
    37 Stitches by Drowning Pool
    Let It Go by Depswa
Wake Up by Three Days Grace
    Whatever by Godsmack

And this wouldn't happen due to the fact there already is Rock Band AC/DC, having two of the same game is redundant.

The discussion for what songs should be on rock band/ guitar hero have gone on since the track lists were released some years ago. Its hard to minimize it to a short thew and to give songs not already on the games/ DLC. My list could go on and on but i'm just going to put down my top 3.

The Cardigans - My favourite game
YouTube - The Cardigans - My Favourite Game [Uncensore"]400 Bad Request

    Stereophonics - Dakota
    YouTube - stereophonics - dakota

    Feeder - Buck Rogers
    YouTube - buck rogers

If any one of these songs are currently in the game/DLC listen and love. I would suggest to listen to more of Stereophonics and Feeder, great welsh bands. It wasn't easy desiding the songs because on one hand you want to play your favourite or very good songs but on the other hand you want the song to have a great rythem and beat. For all the instruments.

    Oh wait.

I wanna see some AC/DC and Aerosmith. I don't care what, but I wanna see some.
As well, I want to see 'Horseshoes and Handgrenades' by Green Day.

I have not seen AC/DC but I did know about Aerosmith. However, I want those songs to be in a non-specialized Guitar Hero, so you still get the variety of other songs.
I'm not, even though I love those two bands' paying 60 dollars for a Guitar Hero with only one bands songs.

Well Rock Band released essentially the same thing for AC/DC, but it isn't praised as a full game and more of a very large track pack.

To clear it up, It's a 'Live' track pack. Not necessarily a game pal.

props for Hendrix's AAtWT cover, better by far. However I can't imagine how anyone would wish to see Killswitch's cover of Holy Diver, you can't top Dio.

I myself want Mr. Roboto, an ass load of Queen and Rust In Peace.

    My Top 5:

    1.)
In Pieces - Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight

YouTube - Linkin Park - In Pieces

    • Vocals - Amazing, very soothing. Meaningful lyrics
    • Guitar - Subtle but awesome. Solo is simply amazing
    • Drums - Very consistent beat that would be somewhat difficult to play
    • Bass - Completes the song. It adds the deep sound that the sang needs
    2.)
Critical Acclaim - Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold

YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold Critical Acclaim ( Lyrics )

    • Vocals - Probably not too difficult but there are some hard parts.
    • Guitar - Like all A7X songs, very original riffs
    • Drums - Simple beat with some interesting mini-solos every once-in-a-while.
    • Bass - Not too prevalent in this song. Pretty much matches up with the lead guitar.
    3.)
Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

YouTube - My Chemical Romance- Famous Last Words (lyrics)

    • Vocals - Original and extremely fun to sing.
    • Guitar - Probably an easier song to play, somewhat difficult solo.
    • Drums - A simple beat, but one that keeps the song interesting.
    • Bass - Like the drums, a simple beat, but one that keeps the song going steadily.
    4.)
City - Hollywood Undead - Swan Songs

YouTube - Hollywood Undead - City

    • Vocals - Sounds really cool. Not much meaning to the lyrics but the song is fun to sing.
    • Guitar - Not very prevalent in the song, has about the same pattern as the bass
    • Drums - Slowish beat with a few changes in the main pattern every once-in-a-while.
    • Bass - More prevalent than the guitar, slow beat
    5.)
Icky Thump - The White Stripes - Icky Thump

YouTube - The White Stripes - Icky Thump

    • Vocals - Fun to sing, cool sound to it
    • Guitar - Very original riffs and "solo". It would probably be one of the harder songs to play.
    • Drums - Very constant beat, pretty easy
    • Bass - Like drums, constant beat. Very prevalent but simple.
    There you go. Great songs.
