I'm 100% certain that he is stealing maps. Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Share First, I noticed that a lot of his File Share were Sandbox Maps. I download nearly every Sandbox map so of course I was going to look in to them. I downloaded "Sky Circut" and played a custom with my brother.... only to find out it's actually "Quantum". I thought maybe he was the map maker and I was running into a FH member. I was excited to see someone I might recognize from FH so I asked him after the match. He responded with.. "Caretaker you suck" Then he left. .... I sent him a message asking if he was from ForgeHub. He didn't answer me. .... So now I've cross-referrenced all "his" maps along side with FH posts, none of the threads on the maps lead to his file share. Sadly, someone is stealing your maps. He isn't just putting them on his file share. He is going into forge and saving it again so it shows up as him being the author. This makes me pretty sad and I thought the people making the maps should be aware. Maps Stolen: - Ziggurat - Quantum I'm not too sure if Desecration, Tombstone, or Temple are his but I'm doubting his credibility. Sorry FH. :[
I believe this is what Hammer and Anvil is for. And seeing as he pressed 'I agree', he violated the Hammer and Anvil. Bungie can help.
Collect evidence and take it to Bungie. Don't just message them saying "Somebody stole my map." without any evidence to support it. Surely, a ForgeHub link to your map, and to his fileshare will work. Note: I'm talking to anyone who's maps have been stolen, not OP.
thats just sad, =( granted sometimes i take a map and edit it to my likings but i never re post it as mine, and if i do i ask the author if its okay for me to release a v2 of it. People these days i guess he could fool his friends but not everyone on forge hub.
well if he tires to post tem here everyone will recognize there not his and here is one of the few ways to be nown as a good forger noone will dl his maps as much as the originals
Find the dude, find the maps on his FileShare, and report him to Bungie. See if Shiska wants to screw around with thieves

GO BANHAMMER! go,go, go banhammer! lol I started leaving a random object that would be either very hard to find or get rid of because I'm paranoid someone might take my map and claim it as theirs'. Even though I usually play custom with friends. You may know your friends and what they would do but you don't know what their friends might do.
Best solution for map stealing, folks: Keep a very early version with you. If anyone claims a map is theirs, show the very early version as proof you are the real author.
Someone is stealing my map in front of my face, I have early versions so dw. He was my clan leader, asked me to forge a map to his specifications, wanted to do spawn points and weapons before its even finnished and me and the burning cheese have been building it, so when he wanted to do that you could tell we were pissed so we told him no and he saved the map and has decided to continue with OUR map and claim it as his own when he is done. PS: The guy is called starstreamer97 I beleive he is on forgehub as well COUGH COUGH..
Just fyi, I replied generic posts on the guy's youtube videos, and most of the videos that had stolen maps have been taken down and are in editing to give credit to the original authors. So either the guy was completely unknowing that his friend stole those maps, or he's just going along with it so he can repost the videos. Either way, the videos are down.. and chances are the guy's asking his friend as we speak about stealing it. Anyway, just thought I'd keep you up to date. Yay vigilante Justice!
what a douche seriously, I used to have Blaze is god's and sweeny's map's on my file share but the author still said s their names. what kind of person steals a map from someone else?
lol you said it, in most of my maps i hide a signature somewhere, like a STFU made out of left over objects and put it someplace where you can only get to it in forge. that would work well lol.
