I don't know if anyone even cares about Reach anymore, or bothers reading these forums at all, but after a long time of not playing halo I found some neat things when fooling around a bit.

Sorry if anything here is obvious, I just thought it was neat :S

Evade allows you to roll under low ceilings

You can use this to make certain parts of a map only accessible to people with evade, for flanking routes, or for invasion or infection where only one of the sides would be allowed to take certain routes.

Sprint and evade allow for larger jumps

In evade's case you do need some space for a run-up, both once again certain parts of a map can be made exclusive to sprint and evade users. (and jetpack ofcourse)

If there's no space for a good run-up, evade can be excluded for sprint-only routes.

    Jetpack Fuel

I've always liked the idea of having jetpacks in custom infection modes but they'd always be overpowered, even when limited to one on the map for one lucky survivor. You can disable equipment use by default, and use custom powerups on the map to give a short period of ability usage, which can also work with other abilities. You could have an infection mode where survivors have no shield, no health regen but some decent resistance so it takes a while for them to go down, and it can be difficult to place a balanced amount of health packs cause player amounts can be variable. By giving people drop shields that can only be activated with a custom powerup survivors can share their heals.

Xandrith and Buddy Jumps like this.
