Solar Plexus Solar plexus is my newest map on Assembly. It allows 2-8 people, and works great with Slayer, FFa, Capture the Flag, Assault, King of the Hill, and Oddball. The two highlights of the map are the fuel rod platform, hovering over the edge of the map, and the sniper ledge. It should also be noted that he gravity hammer was replaced with a sword. The name solar plexus was my idea for the center of a series scarab manufacturing factories, (Solar plexus being a part of the body behind the stomach) as well as wanting a unique name to go with my map. So, I hope you enjoy. The middle tower in the map, showing off the juicy effect [/URL] Fuel rod platform, across the map from the overshield tower/sniper ledge. Finally! someone made something game changing on assembly! in the third picture, what is with that shield door? 9/10(even though it is epic for assembly its still no where near what people have done on other maps
Thanks for the feedback! As for your question, they are circular shield doors, only found on Assembly (maybe other maps, but I've only seen them on Assembly) I worked really hard on this because I made it for a Ghosts of Onyx forging competition, but then realized I couldn't enter. Oh well.
Could we have a weapon list? Because close-range weapons (Shotgun, Sword etc.) are not a good match for maps with shield doors.
There are two maulers in there (hidden well), four brute shots, a beam rifle, a fuel rod gun, a sword (all three of the power weapons have high respawn time), 2 needlers, a few brs, carbines, and I think that's it. Sorry, I kept most of bungie's default weapons and they put a lot in there. In testing, camping wasn't much as a problem as bases don't have shield doors on the bottom and are easily acsessible from there. Not to mention that the stickies, frags, maulers, and fuel rod can take care of any sword campers
